Thank you again for entering this year's Edwinstowe 10k taking place tomorrow.
The course is now set up.
We've included below a few updates together with links to the start list and race day instructions. Please do read the instructions carefully before setting off - particularly the safety information, registration details, and parking information.
All race numbers must be collected from the race number collection point (on the event field) on arrival. This opens at 08.30am and will close at 10.00am. The race starts at 10.30am (subject to our medical teams and marshals all being correctly in place).
If you have also entered into the Notts County Championship element of the event, you will also need to go to the Notts AAA registration point AFTER you have collected your race number.
Sections of the course are muddy and slippy - please do take extra care at these sections.
We have re-routed the course slightly shortly after the mid point water station - the re-route is only minor and we have signage in place along with a marshal at that point, however please do take care on the re-route section as there are some roots which are a minor trip hazard. The 10km distance is unaffected by the re-route.
The route has been accurately measured as a 10KM. The KM markers around the course are roughly in the right places.
Unfortunately due to the potential for rain and not having access to our normal covered area, our sports retailer will not be with us this year.
This year in response to runner feedback, we have opted for finisher medals instead of t-shirts. You will be handed your medal in a plastic sachet when you finish. Please do take care not to drop the sachet and please do dispose of it in a bin on site or at home.
Edwinstowe Cricket club will be serving hot drinks. Nomad will be serving hot drinks and other refreshments. The RSPB cafe will also be open for take-away drinks and refreshments.
The craft centre shops and cafe/coffee shops will also be open. The shops are very much worth a look around if you have time before you head home.
We have approx 40 on the day entries available. Finisher medals are not guaranteed for on the day entrants.
Portaloos are available on the event field. There are also limited toilets at the craft centre and at the back of the RSPB building. Please use the portaloos on the event field where possible.
