Edwinstowe 10k Trail Race

The Edwinstowe Christmas 10k Trail Race is an annual trail race which is now in its 16th year. This year the race will be held on Sunday 27th November 2023.

The 2023 Edwinstowe Christmas 10k Trail Race will be held on Sunday 26th November 2023. This festive race enables runners to discover the delights of trail running on a gently undulating forest and nature reserve course at a great location away from all the traffic. The location also offers The Robin Hood Story, Cafes, Visitor Centre and Craft Centre. The event, which is now in its 17th year, is once again being organised by Run2u events.

We are delighted to confirm that online entries are now live for the 2026 Edwinstowe 10k via the England Athletics system (which has replaced Run Britain). The event will take place on Sunday 29th November 2026.

Official results from the Nottinghamshire County Championship element of the event will be published as soon as we receive them. Medals will be presented in January. Further details will be provided soon.

Provisional date for the 2026 Edwinstowe 10k is Sunday 29th November. Entry will open early January.

We are looking forward to seeing all our runners tomorrow for the 2025 Edwinstowe 10k trail race!!

Please ensure you read all the information in the race day instructions prior to arrival and collecting your race number.

Our volunteers (over 40 of them) are ready and the course is now set up - the course does have a couple of very wet sections (including just before 4km) so please do wear appropriate footwear ! You will get wet but it should make for a great trail race!!

Our official photographers "Mick Hall Photos" will also be on the course so do give them a wave and smile!

We will also have our official retailed "Lincolnshire Runner" on hand for last minute purchases and Christmas gifts!

We also have approx 50 on the day places available - priced at £20 (cash only).

We will be on the course early tomorrow ahead of the 10.30am start so won't be able to respond to messages.

The provisional start list (with race numbers) as of 25th November is included via the link below.

On the day instructions including where to collect your race number from is also available via the link below. Please read this information carefully including the timings, parking information, and safety information (before the day).

We will have approximately 50 on the day entries available. Information regarding on the day entry is also included in the race day instructions.

Thank you to all runners who have entered the 2025 Edwinstowe 10k which takes place a week today (Sunday 30th November).

The entry list as of today, 23rd November is included via the link below. If you have already entered please review your details and advise us via [email protected] by 25th November if any details are incorrect including whether or not you wish to be included in the Nottinghamshire County Championships either through residency or birth in Nottinghamshire.

On the day instructions including where to collect your race number from will be emailed out over the next couple of days.

Online entries are now closed but we will have approximately 50 on the day entries available. Further details regarding on the day entry will be posted on this page in the next couple of days.

Unfortunately we are unable to transfer or defer entries this close to the event due to the costs we have already incurred for each runner.

Emails from UKA re Nottinghamshire County Championships elements of Edwinstowe 10k race taking place on 30th November.

We are aware that UK Athletics have emailed a number of runners regarding eligibility for the Notts County Championship element of the Edwinstowe 10k trail race.

Please ignore this email if you "do not" want to be included in the Notts County Championship element of the event.

If you do want to be included in the Notts County element of the event please email us at [email protected] to advise that you wish to be included, and confirm whether you are eligible through either birth in Nottinghamshire, residence in Nottinghamshire (for the last 9 months) or both.

The 2025 Edwinstowe 10k which takes place on Sunday 30th November is fast approaching. A link to the entry list (as of 9th November) is included below. If you have already entered please review your details and advise us via [email protected] by 12th November if any details are incorrect including whether or not you wish to be included in the Notts County Championships (either through residency or birth in Nottinghamshire).

With just 3 weeks to go to race day we do still have some entries available but would recommend those wishing to enter to enter online in the next week.

2025 Edwinstowe 10k Trail Race

Thank you to all runners who have entered the 2025 Edwinstowe 10k trail race which takes place on Sunday 30th November.

With just over 2 months to go to the event, we would encourage all runners wishing to enter the event to enter as soon as possible. Entry is available online at https://englandathletics.sport80.com/public/wizard/e/28875

We are also delighted to confirm that the event has been selected as the 2025 Nottinghamshire County Championship Trail Race. Entrants wishing to be included in the County Championship element of the event will be asked to confirm whether they wish to be entered into the County Championships as part of the online event registration process.

The event will also once again stage the Notts Trail Race County Championships.
