Our Ladies Division 1 team were at the Softball League Cup Finals Day at Leicestershire County Cricket Ground!
The girls battled their way through a packed day of cricket, picking up some fantastic wins along the way and making it all the way to the Final! 👏🏻

It wasn’t quite to be in the final, going down by just 11 runs, but what an achievement to reach the Cup Final after such a brilliant day’s cricket.
5 games. 3 group-stage wins. A semi-final victory. A Cup Final. 🏏💚
We couldn’t be prouder of every single player who represented Edwinstowe Community Cricket Club on Sunday, and it didn’t stop there as we had two other teams out at festivals in Underwood (winning all four games) and Clumber winning two of four! Lots of new players stepping on the pitch for the first time and having a great time together, that’s what it’s all about!

Lacey coming to watch, but then playing and bowling the best over in a pair of crocs.
Josie causing chaos by smashing too many balls into people's gardens.

I'm sure there were many more, but I was too busy laughing and enjoying myself’
Highlights from the Clumber Park Festival included fabulous fielding from Ruth during the Worksop game, preventing them from scoring a boundary; a spectacular wicket from Sophie during the game against Retford; and Ella scoring two sixes during the match against Retford to help us seal the win!
