How Fridays have changed ❤️

Find an exercise you actually enjoy.

Not because it burns the most calories.
Not because your watch tells you it’s the best thing ever.
Not because some influencer said you should be doing it.

Do it because you look forward to it.
Because it gets you out of the house.
Because it makes you laugh.
Because it fills your heart.

For me, that’s padel. And yes, I’m fully aware I’ve become a bit obsessed.

A Friday night with these lovely ladies, a few good rallies, plenty of laughs and the odd bit of competitive behaviour is a pretty decent way to finish the week.

Fitness should add to your life, not take over it. 🎾❤️

The fitness industry convinced women they need motivation.

Honestly, I think that’s one of the biggest lies we’ve ever been sold.

I can’t tell you how many women I’ve coached over the years who thought they lacked willpower or motivation. They’d start strong on a Monday, have a stressful week, miss a workout or eat off plan and immediately assume they’d failed.

The reality is motivation comes and goes. It always will.

You’re motivated when you’ve slept well, work is under control, the kids are behaving and life feels easy. Then real life happens and suddenly that motivation disappears.

The women who get the best results aren’t more motivated than everyone else. They just have better systems.

They know when they’re training.
They have simple habits they can stick to.
They have a plan for busy weeks.
They know one bad meal or missed workout doesn’t mean starting again on Monday.

That’s why I spend far more time helping women build routines and structure than I do trying to “motivate” them.

Because motivation is unreliable as f**k.

Good habits aren’t.

What’s the one thing you struggle to stay consistent with most? Training, food, sleep, steps, or something else?

If you’re new here, let me tell you what I actually do 👋

I help women stop starting over with their health and fitness.

Not through stupid detoxes, starvation diets, or “summer shred” bo****ks.

Through strength.
Structure.
Education.
Consistency.
And learning how to build habits that actually fit real life.

Inside my coaching I help women:
🏋️ feel more confident in gyms
💪 build strength and fitness
🍱 lose fat without obsession
⚡ improve energy and routine
🧠 stop the all-or-nothing cycle
✨ feel like themselves again

I coach women online and now from a women’s only gym in Chesterfield too 💪

Services currently include:
• 1:1 PT
• Small Group Coaching
• Midweek Reset class
• Strong Girls Club for teens

Because the goal was never just getting smaller.

It’s feeling strong, capable, confident, and fit for life.

So many women think confidence comes from being “skinny enough”.

Yesterday I heard a woman say:
“I don’t feel skinny enough for holiday.”

That sentence says a lot.

Because skinny isn’t actually a feeling.

What most women really mean is:
“I don’t feel confident.”
“I don’t trust myself around food.”
“I don’t feel comfortable in my own skin.”
“I’m scared I’m going to undo all my progress.”

That’s why crash diets never actually solve the problem.

You can lose weight and still feel anxious.
Still hide in photos.
Still overthink every meal.
Still panic before holidays.

Because confidence doesn’t come from starving yourself for 8 weeks before an all inclusive.

It comes from building habits you can actually sustain.
Learning how to eat without guilt.
Training to feel strong, not punished.
And knowing one holiday doesn’t define your worth or ruin your progress.

That’s what we build inside VITAL.

Not women obsessing over being smaller for summer.
Women who feel strong, capable, confident, and in control all year round.

Because the goal was never just to look different for 2 weeks.

It’s to build a life where you finally feel good in yourself again.

If you’re done with the all-or-nothing cycle and want to actually feel strong, confident and in control again, drop me a message with “VITAL” ❤️

I used to be terrible at resting. I’m still a work in progress.

If I sat down, I felt guilty, still do at times.
If I wasn’t being productive, I felt lazy.
If I took a rest day, I’d convince myself I was “falling off track”.

Meanwhile I was exhausted. Running on caffeine, stress, poor sleep, and pure bloody stubbornness. That slowing down meant failing.

And I see so many women doing exactly the same thing now.

We’ve somehow normalised being permanently knackered and wearing burnout like a badge of honour.

But your body doesn’t see that as impressive.
It just sees stress.

Recovery is part of the plan.
Not something you unlock once you’ve suffered enough and your body forces you to stop.

The women who stay strong long term aren’t the ones trying to punish themselves into progress seven days a week.

They’re the ones who learn when to push and when to slow the f**k down.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is sit outside with a coffee and let your nervous system calm down for five minutes.

Strong women recover too.

Do you struggle to rest without guilt?
