Morning - so at the end of December I retired as a Move it or Lose it instructor (best role I’ve ever had to be honest) and passed the baton to The Fitness Box team who rebranded as Forever Active and classes run every Tuesday and Thursday 10.30am. Lots of free parking and two amazing instructors who include dance, strength, flexibility, balance and core exercises specifically aimed at maintaining a healthy, active life as we enter our more mature years ♥️

The Coopers have signed up to Chatty Cafe Scheme, as we approach a period that many close and far will find difficult. We are looking for a Volunteer to run our Chatty Table giving people a safe space to talk.

This process, known as remodeling, removes old bone and replaces it with fresh tissue. To keep your bones strong, here are some tips:

• Exercise regularly
• Eat a healthy, balanced diet
• Get enough vitamin D
• Avoid smoking and limit alcohol
• Consider taking vitamin K

As summer draws to a close, many people start to notice a shift in their mood and dread the clocks going back at the end of October. This change can cause low mood and low energy. It is not quite the same as seasonal affective disorder (SAD), but it can still be unpleasant and affect daily life. Understanding why these mood shifts occur and learning how to combat them can help us embrace the autumn and winter months with a more positive outlook.
