The most recent and possibly last actual stocking of carp needed (as we now have too many haha)

Leneys from March 2024 between 1-2lb, first one now caught at over 20lb at 21lb. 2 and a half years 20lb growth is just crazy - this one is obviously a bit more of a freak but nearly every fish is between 15lb ish 😅🙌🏼

The future target fish for sure 👌🏽

The breams first bite since emptying out, this was at the start of the month to be fair, pretty usual for her to drop up to 25% of her body weight so coming in at 35.8 isn’t too bad at all! Looking healthy as well all things considered 👌🏽

Millgrove has definitely benefitted from a spring of food! Although it was slow to get started with its bites because of all the extra food that went in, the growth rates of these carp and how good of a condition they’re in shows it was definitely the right call!

The autumn may well be targeted on getting the top and middle lake fish back up to condition with all they’ve been through but next spring the grove will certainly get the same treatment and hopefully we can put some fish over 30lb!

Absolutely love the variety in this pond.

The black common from middle lake has finally been caught again this year, 2 years on from its last capture! In my head there’s now a definite 3 commons in middle lake but there could well be more as I think we stocked 6 all together! This one with its white tipped tail and the pinch mark common are easily identifiable, there is also a different strained common that’s a grey type colour but I think that’s all that’s been caught the last 3 years but would love to be corrected!

Lovely to see even if a small pond they can hide well and throw up the odd surprise 👀

Little random selection of fish since I haven’t posted in nearly 2 months 😂 been a fight against the weather me this year and trying to stay on top of water quality so no mega growths to report but a few nice fish out regardless!

How’s about that 😍🤩

The Rasta looking unbelievable after spawning and at a massive 37.2lb! Mad to think this fish was 8lb in 2021 😅

And for midge to catch it as well is amazing although he said he wanted to catch it over 40lb, there’s always next year 😂

Half way through this year already and here’s a few middle lake residents I don’t think I’ve shared yet? Might be wrong but all 20+ but still lots of fish I’m hoping to see before the year is out! 👌🏽

All lakes done with spawning now and getting on the food again so maybe we will see some of the rarer ones slipping up now they’re hungry 😂

Surelyyy there’s been a fish caught at keepers in the last two weeks? Haven’t had a pic sent since May 9th and I know there’s been a few people about 👀 in other news all the grassies are still growing with 4 over 20lb and the big one still not been caught 👀

Another brace of 20’s a few months back this time with an older fish with a newer fish! No prizes for guessing which one is which but middle lake continues to get better with all of the fish growing well and looking lovely 🙌🏼
