Our speech and language therapy team members assess, diagnose and provide therapy for individuals with speech, language and communication and/or swallowing problems to help the individuals to communicate to the best of their ability. Our team of therapists are all highly experienced and are all members of the Health Professional Council (HPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) who define the professional standards we follow. We are based in Manchester and work across the North West of England. We offer highly specialist services within the area of assistive technology (AT) and Alternative & Augmentative Communication (AAC). We are dedicated training partners of Smartbox who are specialists in computer-based communication aids and access to computer systems. Our team members are experienced within a wide range of speech and language difficulties and we are able to offer free initial telephone consultations to best identify the needs of your child. We are also the only UK LAMP trainers. Please see our page for next training dates.

‘People often ask us to define invisible disability. In simple terms, an invisible disability is a physical, mental or neurological condition that is not visible from the outside, yet can limit or challenge a person’s movements, senses, or activities. Unfortunately, the very fact that these symptoms are invisible can lead to misunderstandings, false perceptions, and judgments.’ - Invisible Disabilities® Association
