Hi all my lovely pupils and mums and dad's ###x I hope you all had a great Xmas and New year !! Just a message to tell you all I still miss you all so much and thanks to many of you who have chosen to stay in touch with me personally via my mobile number ... was a little overwhelming at Christmas with all my messages and beautiful hand made gifts delivered by post thank you I will cherish them ### please feel free to phone me anytime for a chat or advice ... and those that have taken up dancing 💃 elsewhere let me know how you are getting on ... always interested... love you all from Jean and of course the girls and buddy and santa ###

Thanks for your patience folks, I have checked out a few IDTA schools and have come up with the school below, although it may not suit all, she seems quite nice although I don't personally know her.

RACHAEL ALMOND DANCE ACADEMY -
56 Eastwood Road, New Moston, M40 3TF
2 medal test per year - one every 6 months - sometimes slips in a third ??
Ballroom and Latin classes on a Saturday including Rosettes and Star Dance.
First session free and then £21.00 per month for Saturday classes.
Freestyle/Street dance classes Tuesday evening 5.30 to 6.30pm also £21.00 per month.
Classes to be paid up front by standing order- no refunds for holidays, sickness etc.
No parking facilities.
Children to be dropped off and picked up, PARENTS CANNOT STAY.

I am so sorry that it seems a lot of my Saturday pupils and parents found out that the school was closing through social media never my intention at all .... but we live in the social media world now ....invited people to come along so I could tell everyone face to face and explain the many reasons behind my decision. The club is not in any state that I feel would be comfortable or more importantly safe for anyone. I have asked Sam to let anyone who requires a copy of the letter sent to the club to let you have that separately xx thank you all for all being part of JM'S family however long you have been dancing ### I am always available if you need me for advice on schools in the area ...we have loved every minute of our 38 years with you all and will miss you terribly 🥰🥰🥰

A message from the boss 😊

Hi all more informative info for our reopening on Friday 24th September and Saturdays on the 9th October. If you need more information not included in this message please contact Jean on 0161 881 8768 or 07786791675.

FRIDAYS.

The classes will now commence at 7.15pm for the first class - 7.45 for the middle and last classes.
We would appreciate that pupils be dropped off and picked up where possible. If parents do have to attend only one person to bring the pupil/pupils. There will be no alcohol allowed in the ballroom, but after checking with the club you are welcome to go into the bar downstairs and have a drink there whilst you wait for your child's class to finish. There will be no sweets or crisp on sale in the ballroom drinks only.

Hand sanitisers will be at the entrance to the ballroom, before anyone enters the toilets and in the toilets. PLEASE USE THEM. Only one person allowed in the toilets at any time.

If you are a mask wearer please wear the mask on entering the school and when leaving, or whenever you feel comfortable.

The price of classes from the date we reopen will be £6.00 per child.

I hope everyone will understand that we are trying to keep all pupils, parents and staff as safe as possible in these very unsure times.

SATURDAY CLASSES

Saturday classes will resume as normal from 9th October --- much the same format as previously. Again the less parents in the room the better but we do understand the need for parents/guardians to be with particular age groups particularly the Tiny Boppers class/Rosettes.

Rosette classes price will be £5.50 and the older classes £6.00.

Same rules as above apply with regards to drinks, masks, toilets, hand sanitisers, and sorry mums and dads no tea or coffees being sold for the immediate future.

Mums and Dads that need more info on times for the different class on a Saturday please feel free to phone me on any of the above numbers.

Sorry so long winded and boring but we are all very excited and happy to welcome everybody back to JM'S and some sense of normality ...... although I haven't changed much, still bossy, very annoying and gorgeous ..... see you all soon.

Looking so forward to seeing you all ... albeit with more rules to try and keep us all safe ### Jean and all the staff ❤️

Hi my lovely mums, dad's and pupils .....
Just to let you all know I will be giving out your medals from the March test in 2020! Sorry you have had to wait so long.
The car park of the club is where I will be on:
Friday 23rd April between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Saturday 24th April between 11 a.m. and 12 noon.

If you know anyone not visiting our page can you please let them know or collect the medals on their behalf. I can't wait to see you all socially distancing of course! The good news is the club is definitely reopening so as soon as we are allowed, with permission from the International Dance Teachers Association (our governing body), we will obviously try and sort out pupils attending safely and professionally. Hopefully I will soon be able to give you all more information and welcome all my lovely pupils back love and big hugs Jean ###xx

Hi everyone I wish you all a very Happy Christmas .....weird times for us all. I really missed our party night and so did Santa and buddy the elf !!!! still absolutely no news when we can try and get anything back to normal at JM just keeping our fingers crossed that the club can stay in business and eventually reopen ...... all your medals are still safe here and if there is no news soon I will arrange a time and date to meet everyone at the club to hand them out even if it has to be in the car park !!!!! we all miss you so much here's to some good news in the new year love and hugs jean and the girls ###x🥰🥰
