Well it was better than last year.

To sustain belief in yourself when you prepared yet underperformed is hard.

Honesty is required.

I went out with the leading pace hoping to podium. I came 23rd

I started to fade after the rower and had nothing left after 30 WBs and didn’t feel strong enough at to many moments in the race. This needs to change.

Now I know I’m the fittest I’ve ever been and I’m proud of my effort today. But to be where I want to be and know I’m capable of being will require more commitment and sacrifice.

“Why you writing paragraphs it’s only HYROX” no it’s something I’m willing to give everything to in pursuit of proving myself right.

In life and in business I’ve done well and had impact because I’m strategic and cover all bases my own personal performance and training requires that same attention and detail.

You get away with nothing at the top.

I put myself out there, I risk judgement, I take risks, I win, I fail, I show it all. This weighs heavy sometimes and in moments of uncertainty with eyes on me I feel it and want to run away…

But feelings will never come in the way of my deepest desires and belief in myself.

A summer of getting stronger and PBing my 5k,10k and half awaits 🧱

Live by the word die by the sword.

Left it all out there today.

Maybe went out too hard but we love it.

Gonna have to put myself back@in the cooler for a few month.

Need to build some stronger foundations however moments like this when is was stood on the finish line ultimately disappointed prove why I do this and why I won’t stop untill the best version of myself is shown.

The process builds the resilience required 🧱
