Gorton Karate & Kobudo Club teaches Sh*to-Ryu/Shukokai Karate and more recently, is a provider of kobudo, under the instruction of weapons exponent, Sensei Julian Mallelieu 7th Dan. Gorton Karate & Kobudo Club (GKKC) teaches Sh*to-Ryu/Shukokai Karate and more recently, is a provider of kobudo, under the instruction of weapons exponent, Sensei Julian Mallelieu 7th Dan, chief instructor of Tameside Karate and English Karate Federation Kata Coach. GKKC was established in April 2005 by GKKC Chief Instructor Sensei Deborah Jones 5th Dan. In partnership with Sensei Debs, Sensei Dan Corbet 2nd Dan, leads G.K.K.C alongside senior instructors Sensei Lexi Sahadeo 3rd Dan & Sensei Chloe Cope 2nd Dan. The team is strengthened by the support of dan grade instructors Ethan Corbet 2nd Dan, Wendy Corbet 1st Dan, Ed Carter 1st Dan and Natalie Newsham 1st KYU.
