At Sala, everything we do is designed to help young players develop the skills that modern football demands.

The research backs it up, but we've also seen it first-hand over the last 15 years. Players such as Callum Styles (West Brom), Thelo Aasgaard (Rangers), Tyrhys Dolan (Espanyol) and Corey Edwards (Stockport County) all spent time developing through futsal with Sala during their youth journeys.
Today, Thelo Aasgaard is representing Norway at the FIFA World Cup — a fantastic example of where dedication, hard work and the right development environment can lead.
Futsal isn't about replacing football. It's about giving young players extra opportunities to learn, solve problems, improve their technique and enjoy more meaningful touches of the ball.

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup gets underway, everyone at Sala Soccer Schools & Futsal Club Manchester is incredibly proud to see former graduate Thelo Aasgaard representing Norway on football's biggest stage.
Watching a player who developed within our programme progress to the World Cup is a major milestone for us as a coaching provider and a testament to the power of long-term player development.
Thelo's journey from local futsal and football sessions to international football demonstrates what can be achieved through dedication, hard work and a passion for continuous improvement. His success is an inspiration to every young player currently coming through our programmes.

🏆 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆
What a season. What a team. What a club.
We're incredibly proud to see Sala Futsal Club crowned National Futsal League T3 Champions in our very first men's season, following a stunning 9-1 victory over Newham Futsal Club in the national final. 🎉⚽
To finish top of the T3.1 North division and then go on to lift the national title is a remarkable achievement — made even more special by the number of homegrown players who came through our youth pathway.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved: players, coaches, volunteers, parents, supporters and sponsors. This success belongs to all of you.
