Great story

USA star Folarin Balogun became a US citizen by accident when an airline refused to fly his mother back to England while she was pregnant with him 🤯

His mother, Florence, was living in London but travelled to New York in 2001 to visit family. When she tried to return to England, airline officials refused to let her board without medical clearance ✈️

After being left stranded in Brooklyn, she stayed with relatives and soon gave birth to Balogun 🇺🇸

He netted a brace in the US' 4-1 victory over Paraguay and has established himself as the country's first-choice striker 🔥

What an incredible and unique story! 😮
