“Pure Gold”. 🤩🤩🤩
10/10 score when asked if they would recommend the Sleep through Perimenopause and Menopausal Years workshop.
Wow.
I sent out an anonymous feedback form to see how I could improve on the workshop, and so far, there has been no suggestions to improve it, just incredible feedback.
One of the questions I asked was - ‘Is there anything you will do differently following this workshop?’
I saw this response this morning when seeing if anyone else had filled in the feedback form;
“Yes, there were a number of really good ideas to implement and the best thing is that they are simple and easy. You didn't give us hard, complex steps, you gave us simple, small changes that we can fit into already-busy lives. Amazing! This was an amazing workshop - simple, but rich in knowledge, but also easy to understand and easy to implement. Pure gold.”
It was such an amazing thing to wake up to.
The reason this feels so powerful to me is that all I see when people post in groups saying they can’t sleep due to perimenopause is suggestions of supplements.
Try x, try y.
That’s great and everything, but how does this person know they need to replace anything, and if so, what to replace.
Step 1 should always be understanding what is going on and making simple and practical changes that a) don’t cost money, and b) lead you to the right supplements if needed rather than throwing money into the air and hoping it lands on the right thing.
Step 2 should be then seeing what’s left to work with, then speaking to a healthcare professional to find out what supplements or hormone replacement treatments are needed to help improve sleep and overall wellbeing.
Women have been going through menopause since the beginning of time, but they didn’t have supplements back then, but, their life was different.
They didn’t lead the hectic and chaotic lives so many of us lead today.
They didn’t carry the mental weight so many women carry.
They didn’t have access to so much processed food, and sleep wasn’t sacrificed to fit more into the day like it is today.
So, let’s start with Step 1, then see what’s left.
I also plan to be checking in with you all at 2 weeks and 4 weeks after you have watched the workshop to see how you are getting on.
