British Taekwondo is pleased to invite clubs to the second webinar in our Funding Support Series, delivered by Kudos Sports Services on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟲:𝟬𝟬.

This session will help clubs take the next step in their funding journey by developing a better understanding of the funding landscape and how to identify opportunities that could support their growth and development.

The webinar will also look at what funders are looking for, including how to demonstrate need, impact and value, alongside practical advice on how to strengthen an application and avoid some of the most common mistakes.

It’s an opportunity to think about what your club could achieve with additional investment, whether that’s increasing participation, developing new programmes, improving facilities or creating more opportunities for your members.

British Taekwondo Poomsae Performance Camps provide athletes with the opportunity to experience elite level training, develop their technical ability and gain valuable insight from experienced coaches in a focused and supportive environment.

With camps in Manchester, Falkirk and Bromley this month, there are opportunities for athletes across the region to step outside their usual training environment, challenge themselves alongside other ambitious performers and continue building the skills, confidence and consistency needed to progress in Poomsae.

The Performance Camps also play an important role within the Poomsae Performance Pathway, giving talented and committed athletes the opportunity to develop through the pathway and work towards potential selection to represent Great Britain in the future.

British Taekwondo will be hosting a National Dan Grading on 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 at the National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester.

A Dan Grading is the culmination of years of hard work, and can mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter in your Taekwondo journey. This important milestone will be for candidates wishing to test for 𝟭𝘀𝘁, 𝟮𝗻𝗱, 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, and we invite you to join us for this special grading opportunity.

This robust examination will provide a memorable lifetime experience, with candidates assessed by a grading panel made up of Kukkiwon ranked Grand Masters - all 8th Dan and above - from across the British Taekwondo family.

We know that the end of summer can be a particularly busy time for coaches and clubs, with the return to training, schools going back, new memberships, and the usual mountain of administration to get through.

With many clubs having taken a well-earned break over the last few weeks, we also recognise that getting everything back up and running takes time.

With this in mind, British Taekwondo has taken the decision to extend the 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝘆𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

We want to make sure our coaches and clubs have the time they need to get their administration in order and ensure their athletes have the opportunity to take part, without adding unnecessary pressure during an already hectic period.

All matches in every division on both days of competition will use KPNP K2 PSS.

KPNP K2 sensor socks will be available to hire for 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀, 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱, 𝗣𝗲𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀. These will be available when athletes check in for their match at a cost of £5 per match.

These socks will be available in the athlete process as players prepare for matches, 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲.

KPNP K2 electronic socks will also be available for purchase from the Ki Martial Arts stand at the National Kyorugi Championships on a first come, first served basis.

We strongly recommend athletes speak to your club instructor to confirm socks or to make arrangements to borrow socks in the same foot size before the event.

Cleaning products will also be available in the athlete process to all players to protect foot hygiene.
