Manchester University Shotokan Karate

Manchester University Shotokan Karate The Manchester University Shotokan Karate Club is affiliated with the Shotokan Karate Academy, run by Sensei Garry Harford 8th Dan KUGB.

The MUSKC welcomes everyone from absolute beginners to black belts, or those who have taken a break from Karate and wish to start training again. The club is affiliated with the Karate Union of Great Britain, the largest single-style organisation in the UK, taught by Sensei Michael Pearce (5th Dan KUGB). The club is open to all practitioners of all styles of Karate who wish to train while at Unive

rsity, or compete in the various competitions we attend every year, including KUGB events and the annual University championships, BUCS. The standard of teaching at the club is extremely high, and this is reflected in club performance throughout the last few years.
