Hello everyone,

We want to thank everyone who attended last Friday's session. It was nice to meet you all. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. You are welcome to join us in the next session even if you've missed the previous sessions.

Regarding memberships, the deadline to purchase membership is 31st of October. It is suggested that archers who have been more than twice, and know they are going to continue,
can purchase their membership here:

The membership can be paid termly if you like. The membership includes:

• Club Affiliation
• Insurance
• Facility hire for 24 weeks (48 hours).
• Coaching for 24 weeks
• Use of equipment.
• Percent off competitions
• NEUAL league matches are included when we join NEUAL, champs etc need to be paid individually but don't cost much.
• As for BUCS entries we will cover percent of BUCS entries, accommodation and travel (If required).

The 5th session will take place ‪on Friday 22th of October‬ Sports Centre,‪114 Grosvenor St, Manchester M1 7HL.‬

The Beginner session will take place ‪at 18:30- 20:00‬.
For the Experienced Archers it is at 20:00 - 21:30. Please ensure you arrive on time.

Reminder As usual 😇

We request that everyone who attends the session does the following:

*Arrive at the session for 18:30.
*Dress appropriately for archery ensuring that you wear tightly fitted clothing without loose ropes, pockets, or buttons
*Wear comfortable shoes that cover your feet as you may be standing for long periods of time.
*Jewellery must be removed.
Tie long hair back (If you can).

This is required from a health and safety perspective.

Hello club members and current beginner's course participants!

In response to today's email from the Vice Chancellor regarding breaking early for Easter in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, we will be running our final session for the term on the 22nd of March.

This will be at Platt Lane Sports Complex at our usual session time of 3:30-5:30, with beginner's course following at 5:30-7:30. However, as this will only be week 5 of 6 of the beginner's course, we'd like to extend the invitation to participants to join us at the club session on the 22nd for an introduction to outdoors archery to make up the difference.

On the chance that the university is instructed to close prior to this, we will of course honour that and not run sessions. In this case, we will organise a chance to catch up and recieve your certificates in the summer term, or at the earliest opportunity.

We apologise for the inconvenience, but the health and wellbeing of our members and community must always come first.

To everyone who has come to today’s session, we are super sorry but we’ve just been notified that the halls are booked for exams till the end of January. Instead we’ll be meeting up at the student union for a social gathering so please feel free to join us 🙂

Greetings Everyone!

We hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year!

Club activities will resume tomorrow at 15:30 - 17:30.

As you can tell Archery couldn’t be found in these years Active Campus as there has been recent changes towards the free sessions. The archery course has been moved into the active extra, therefore you will need to book onto a beginners course and there would be a fee of £25 for the 6 weeks course available.

For our active campus archers already comfortable shooting, club membership is available at a price reflective of how much of the year is left. This gets you access to the 15:30-17:30 session!

Hi guys!

On Saturday 15th of February 2020, we're excited to be hosting BUCS Central! There are opportunities for club members to get involved with the field party and help out, and see behind the scenes of an Archery competition, so if this is something you're interested in please drop a comment below or message the page and we'll send you an invitiation to the organiser's event.

You don't necessarily need to be available for the whole day, so if you just want to come and help when you can, it will still be very appreciated!

Hi all,

Unfortunately archery tomorrow as well as all clubs this weekend has been cancelled because the Doki Doki Festival has reserved Sugden.

Fingers crossed it won't be cancelled next week but it appears luck isn't on our side at the moment. 😅

Memberships are still available through the link below! If you're wanting to pay by met card, pre-register through this link and then take a quick trip to MMU Sports Office (between the library and Sugden) to pay there. A club membership entitles you to join us at the members only 3:30-5:30 session on Sundays, where we'll teach you new techniques for shooting, play games, and take part in competitions!

Just a quick update to let you know that archery membership is now available to buy through the MMU store on the link below!

The price is £46.50 for the year and if you want to buy that with your metcard you simply add that option to your cart and then pay either at the Union or the MMU Sport building.

We're all looking forward to seeing plenty of new archers so be sure to sign up before the 20th October if you want to pay for the whole year.
