Welcome and thank you for supporting my page! I am an aspiring 23 year old, Goalkeeper from Manchester, UK, eager to share my journey with you.
This page/vlog has been created to document my progress as I strive to join a Saturday League Club, receive professional Goalkeeper training, and play matches to regain my lost form and passion for the game. My ultimate dream is to play football at least at a Semi-Pro level, but the journey is going to be full of challenges and obstacles.
The most significant twist in my journey is that I have not taken Goalkeeping seriously for over 5 years, and I am no longer the teenager I once was. Thus, I will need to work hard to build fitness and confidence to achieve any level of success. This journey is going to be anything but easy, and I am not claiming to be the next Manuel Neuer, but I am confident that with the support of the club, external coaches, and my dedication, I can go beyond my previous level of play.
I will be recording my journey through a Go Pro in the net and a chest or headcam to give you a closer look at every save and the progress I make over the months. Join me as I go through pain, failures, and successes!
My first step towards achieving my dream is finding a club. So, if you know of any Saturday League Clubs in the Manchester City area, preferably around Newton Heath / Beswick, with a serious setup, a good group of lads, and train at least twice a week, please reach out!
