LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 🏆🔵

Yesterday was a day to remember for the club, the players, the coaches and everyone that came to many of our games in support.

History was made and we now have our first league title.
Whilst also going undefeated at home in all competitions🔥

It all came down to the final game of the season. We were 2 points clear and winner takes all.

The lads played UNREAL. Not a fault you could point out. Went out and played with passion and won individual battles whilst working as a team.
Ethan Riley put us 1-0 up at the 25 minute mark with an excellent finish. Unfortunately we went into the half 1-1, but that did not take its toll, the boys kept their heads as we took a heavy 10-15 minutes of defensive work of the second half and it paid off as we then went 2-1 up with who other than Ethan Riley again 🔥

As we’ve shown all season with our resilience we then broke out for great passing play and with Liam Morgan playing a ball around the keeper into YET AGAIN.. Ethan Riley for an open net finish. Scoring a hat-trick in the biggest game of season and clubs history😮‍💨. Going into the dying minutes of the game, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better with the work rate, the passing plays and defensive wall, …. the man wearing the armband, that’s been here since the very beginning back in 2019, in front of goal and as cool as you like hits a sweet outside the foot around the keeper making it 4-1… to place the cherry on the cake.

They said we wouldn’t win the rest of our games…

Well earned win over Mcr south end saw us take an early lead and finished the job off taking all 3 points.

Our next 3 games were walk off wins meaning we get all points.

We take all 6 points Sunday 😮‍💨

Good finishes and the football got better as we went on, but a lot of work to do moving forwards.

A decent 2-0 win first game but going into the second game the boys slowed and gave the opposition the upper hand but a late near halfway line goal from Joe saw us sn**ch the win from being a goal down 🙌🏻

We keep pushing game by game.

1st half, lads were great. Defensively and getting the ball forward but couldn’t quite find that end product, still played the ball well comfortably but went into the break 0-0.

2nd half gets going and kept up what we had going in the first half and eventually AGAIN the boy Ethan Riley found the back of the net sliding the ball around the keeper 💪🏼

This gave the fella’s a big boost and saw make it 2-0 with a lobbed shot over the keeper 🙌🏻

Yet another unstoppable performance which the boys will take to weekend 🔵
