One of the most expensive mistakes people make in fitness is joining a cheap gym.
Not because the membership costs too much.
Because they think they’re saving money.
Let’s say a gym membership costs £30 per month.
Sounds like a bargain compared to personal training, right?
Except most people spend months, sometimes years, wandering around the gym floor trying to figure it out. They follow random workouts from Instagram, jump between machines, skip sessions when they’re busy, lose motivation, start again in January, and repeat the whole process.
The membership is cheap.
The time isn’t.
You’ve effectively swapped pounds for hours.
Hours spent second-guessing yourself.
Hours spent doing things that don’t move you forward.
Hours spent starting over.
At P1, people don’t come to us because they can’t afford a gym membership.
They come because they can’t afford to keep wasting their time.
They want to know they’re doing the right things, in the right order, with someone there to guide them when life inevitably gets busy.
Most people don’t need access to more equipment.
They need a plan, accountability, and someone to help them stay consistent.
Because while money can be earned back, the years spent saying “I’ll get back into it next month” are gone for good.
