As the summer holidays come to an end, we're looking forward to another year of inspiring PE lessons, school fixtures, lunchtime clubs, and opportunities for young people to get active.

A huge thank you to all the PE teachers, sports leaders, coaches and support staff who make school sport happen every day. Your dedication helps develop confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

As another football season gets underway, it's easy to focus on the goals, results, and league tables.

But grassroots football is built by the people behind the scenes.
