A HUGE congratulations to James, Woody and Harriet on their mammoth achievement today! 🏅🎉

It was a tough race, with the wind firmly against them, but they dug deep, battled through and PREVAILED! 💪

They’ve all earned their very shiny medals 🥇✨ — and, even better, they’ve raised a fantastic amount of money for Flixton Swim Team along the way! 🏊‍♀️💙

We are so incredibly proud of you three. What an amazing challenge to take on and what a brilliant way to support the club.

The day has finally arrived! Today, our Flixton Three — James, Woody and Harriet — take on their triathlon challenge to raise money for Flixton Swim Team! 💙🏊‍♀️

After all the training, hard work and preparation, it’s time for our three legends to put it all to the test! 💪🔥

We’re incredibly proud of the effort they’ve put in and the challenge they’ve taken on to support our swimmers. Now it’s time to swim, bike, run and smash it! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

🍒🍋 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🎰

A massive thank you to everyone who helped us run the Human Fruit Machine at Flixton Cricket Club’s Party on the Pitch today! ❤️

It wasn’t quite the money-spinner we’d hoped for, and the rather soggy weather certainly didn’t help! 🌧️😂 But we had a brilliant time, lots of laughs, and most importantly, we now have a fully operational Human Fruit Machine ready to take on the road! 🎰🍒🍋🍊

So watch this space… you might see the Flixton Swim Team Fruit Machine popping up at an event near you! 👀

🚗💦 CAR WASH SUCCESS! 💦🚗

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our car wash yesterday! 🙌

Despite the rather questionable British weather 🌧️, we managed to raise an amazing £215 for Flixton Swim Team! 🏊‍♀️💙

Thank you to everyone who brought their cars along, donated, helped out and got stuck in. We really appreciate your support! ❤️

Every pound raised helps our swimmers and our club — and we couldn’t do it without our brilliant Flixton community! 🏊‍♂️👏

Despite the rain currently coming down, it looks like we’re due a little break in the weather around 4pm, so we’re going for it! 🎉

Bring your car down and let us give it a good scrub while helping raise funds for Flixton Swim Team! 🏊‍♂️💙

🌧️ If you’re coming along, please bring a rain jacket just in case! We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and will do our best to keep everyone safe and reasonably dry. 😆

If you’re helping out, please aim to be at the Scout Hut for around 3.45pm.

The forecast is currently looking a little wild, with rain and storms possible, so we’ll be keeping a very close eye on things. We’ll confirm on Saturday early afternoon as to whether the event can go ahead safely.
