Founded in 1932, MUBC has since grown into a thriving club filled with novice and senior members. Each year we take on over 100 members, all of whom are given the opportunities to train at our facilities and go onto compete in events at BUCS, Head of the River, Women's Head of the River, Women's Henley Regatta, & Henley Royal Regatta. Our boathouse is located on an 8 mile rowable stretch of the Br

idgewater Canal near Sale. Indoor rowing training along with strength and conditioning facilities are located at the Armitage Sports Centre in Fallowfield. This weekend both of our Henley boats head South for their penultimate races of the season.

Friday sees our Womenโ€™s Quad compete at Henley Womenโ€™s Regatta in the Cathy Cruickshank Trophy (TT @ 12:20). We are also represented with a composite double with Leeds University in the Rosie Mayglothling Trophy (TT @ 12:45).

Our Menโ€™s Eight also head back to Dorney Lake on Saturday for Marlow Regatta.

A few weeks have passed since our last update but our squads have been busy with their Henley training.

Metropolitan Regatta presented an opportunity to go side-by-side against club and school competition, with the W4x- coming 6th in C final, and the Op8+ coming 8th in the J final. Thanks to for transporting our boats!

We then moved training away from the canal, with the Womenโ€™s Quad training on the Salford Quays, and the Menโ€™s Eight at Runcorn.

Next up, Henley Womenโ€™s and Marlow Regatta!

A couple of weekends ago we held our annual club Easter Ball. This is always a highlight of the year, and having everyone dressed up, receiving awards, and welcoming back some Nemesis members made for a great way to round off the regular season.

The club now turns its eyes towards Henley, with our senior squads heading down to Dorney this weekend for Met Regatta.

Regatta season is back! At the weekend our squads travelled down to Nottingham for BUCS regatta.
