Booming atmosphere on last night's CrossFit Open session at CrossFit Sale Moor.

Seeing the open vets smash out their workouts was great, seeing so many people who are doing it for the 1st was great, seeing so many people suprise themselves because they didn't think they were fit enough was great.
Seeing every cheer & support each other was the best.

This week's member of the week is .m.y.p.w.l

Amy's been with us almost 2 years now & in that time has achieved some amazing results, not only in her physical health, but her mental health.

Seeing Amy grow in confidence along the way, has been a real treat. Amy is much loved by many of the members as she's completely bonkers & makes everyone laugh. Amy's always so welcoming to anyone new & makes them feel welcome & is always a pleasure to have in the gym & coach.

Amy is a perfect example of it doesn't matter where you start, you keep turning up, even when you don't feel like it, the results will come.

From suffering with chronic pain when she first joined, to being fit & able now & glowing in confidence, you're an inspiration to many Amy.

Amy also completed her first CrossFit Open workout today, which I know was a big achievement for her & the gym is very proud of her.

Keep up the great work legend.

This week's member of the week is

Craig's been a member for a few years but with his very busy work life, with running his own business, at points his training has slipped, which is easy to do when you're that busy.
In recent months, he's built up a solid consistency of weekly training & his fitness has really improved.

It's been great to see his technique really develop over the years he's been training with us & it's even better now seeing his momentum build up, now he is achieving some great consistency in his training.

Craig has also been a massive help in growing the business with his work as a SEO & I can't explain in words how much of a help he's been.

Craig's a top lad & I'm loving his progress & I'm excited for the future results he will achieve.

This week's member of the week is

Mollies been with us 5 months now & has been an absolute pleasure.

Mollie always works hard, is very coachable, really friendly towards other members, especially new members who I've paired her up with a few times.

Her fitness has really improved & I've really enjoyed coaching her & having her classes.

You've done amazing Mollie, keep up the great work & I look forward to your future results.

This week's member of the week is

Foxys been doing really well recently.
Foxys been getting herself on the Friday morning Olympic lifting sessions recently & been really enjoying them.
Her technique & grit on the oly lifts has been incredible & it's been great to see how much she's enjoying the progress she's been making.

Foxys very coachable, a lovely person that gets along with everyone & always a pleasure to have in the gym.

Keep up the great work Foxy, you're always a grafter & it's been great to see you putting attention to parts of CrossFit that you may not have been too confident with, but that is growing.

Another big milestone achieved today with for the first time ever 100 people completing a class at CrossFit Sale Moor in a day.
All names on the board + the Teens class.

Well done Amy Middlemast for solo coaching tonight & helping double coach this morning.

A great day of personal bests for many of our amazing members.

Another big step achieved today in taking CrossFit Sale Moor to the next level.

This week's member of the week is Amy Gordon.

Amy's not been with us long but her determination to improve since joining has really impressed me.

Amy has made serious strength gains since starting CrossFit which has resulted in her gaining more confidence in the gym, which will carry over to being more confident in life.

Amy's been a grafter since day 1 & for me it's all about attitude, it doesn't matter your ability, history etc, if you want to improve & you're coachable, I'll make you better & Amy has been very coachable & worked really hard on the challenges I've set her in sessions.

It's been great seeing Amy's confidence grow in the gym & her celebrate her victories when getting personal bests, or me reminding her of the work she's doing now, the old Amy wouldn't have been able to.

You're an absolute pleasure to have in the gym Amy, carry on your great work & just think where you'll be in a year's time if you keep this up.

The first Member Of The Week for the year goes to

Jack's been with us for a while now & settled in really nice.
Like most people, he had to find his pacing & experiment with the right weights when he first started & since figuring that out, with the help from the coaching staff, his work capacity has been incredible.

On yesterdays class, I workout out opposite him, while one of our amazing Coaches Amy took the class & just seeing his grit & determination on what was a really tough workout really impressed me.

He gets alot of work done in less time now & always moves well by selecting the right weight for himself, which that weight/resistance has progressively got heavier since he started with us.

Jack's a top lad & gets along well with everyone & he's always a pleasure to have in sessions.

It's been great to see how far you've come mate, keep up the great work & have a fab weekend.

This week's member of the week is

Melisa's only been with us a few months but has made a great impact already.

First off Melisa's just a great laugh, doesn't take herself seriously & makes myself & the members lol quite often.

Melisa's also a grafter, works really hard when the workout starts & although she gets the fear trying new exercises that she may not be comfortable with, she always gives it a go & has a laugh while doing so, until she gets to grip with it.

Her strength is already improving massively & for someone who wasn't blessed with coordination at birth 😂😂, she's certainly getting to grips with the more complex movements like the Olympic lifts, which she's done so well at.

Keep up the great work Melisa, you're a great part of this friendly & supportive community & great to see your hard work paying off.

This week's Member Of The Week is

Mike's progress since joining is quite unbelievable. Mike's lost loads of weight, I was only saying to him the other week how he looks like a different person now.

That fat loss he has achieved is down to his consistent weekly training since day 1 & also he's been smashing the gyms lifestyle group, which focusing on earning daily points for positive healthy habits achieved, in November, he finished top in the gym.

His fitness has just repeatedly got better with following the right scaling options in workouts & keeping himself busy, whilst gradually increasing the weights.

He's also recently completed Tough Mudder & this week he joined the 200kg deadlift club which is an great achievement that not many manage.

Keep up the great work you absolute stud.
