MMAFIT is based on the high intensity interval training format, tailored to suit all fitness levels.
HIIT (high intensity interval training) is the strength and conditioning format most commonly used by pro MMA fighters, grapplers and other sports professionals worldwide.
Its a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
Benefits of combining this training method with apparatus such as slam balls, battleropes and kettlebells include increased strength, muscle endurance, higher fitness levels and with a healthy diet weight loss.
A typical class involves 1 minute 'stations' where its you against the clock trying to get as many repetitions in as possible, as you progress though the camp your fitness and muscle endurance levels will rise enabling you to perform more reps which will have a sn*******ng effect again increasing you fitness and endurance.
