Tomorrow night, Friday 4th September, history is made at Millgate Lane as our brand-new Old Bedians Stingers take to the field for the very first time! 💙

And what a squad we’ve got…

23 players available for our first ever game. A brilliant turnout and exactly what we hoped the Stingers could become. A mix of experienced heads, returning players, vets and newer faces, all pulling on the Bedians shirt together. 🏉

- Inclusive day of rugby for players old and new
- Food and drink available during and after the game
- Raising money as part of our annual event with Looseheadz, remembering our good friend and team mate Lloyd Cawthorne
- Raffle including a tour of the For the Love of Rugby studios and opportunity to see a live recording in their new Manchester studio for two people, gym membership, RFU stash and much more

Old Bedians are looking for a Volunteer Social Media Content Creator to help tell the story of our club.

From training nights and matchdays to player interviews and behind-the-scenes moments, you’ll have the freedom to shape our social media and bring your own creative ideas to life.

🛠️ Club Working Day This Saturday! 💙

The season is just around the corner, and it’s time to get Millgate Lane looking its best.

Join us this Saturday 1st August from 9:00am as players, members, volunteers and supporters come together to help with a range of jobs around the club. Whether you can spare an hour or stay all day, every pair of hands makes a difference.

It’s a great chance to catch up with everyone, lend a hand, and play your part in getting the club ready for another season.

⚠️ TRAINING UPDATE ⚠️

With England kicking off their Football World Cup semi-final at 8pm tonight, we’ve made a change to this week’s schedule.

🏉 Training has been moved to Thursday 16th July
🕖 7:00pm

Our clubhouse will be open tonight if you’d like to join us and cheer on the Three Lions together. 🦁

We’ll be back on the pitch tomorrow, ready to get to work ahead of the new season. New players are always welcome, so if you’ve been thinking about giving rugby a go, tomorrow is the perfect time to come down and get involved.
