We are delighted to announce that AA E Yates Ltd.through their social value program have stated construction of our mobility impaired ramps into our recently refurbished change room facilities ๐Ÿ™Œ

We are delighted to announce that we will be starting our Howdens Game Changer Kitchen Transformation shortly ! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Cheetham Hill Sports Club gets game changing support from Howdens.

North West based Cheetham Hill Sports Club is to receive a brand-new kitchen in its clubhouse from kitchen supplier Howdens as part of a partnership with England Football.

The Howdensโ€™ Game Changer programme was launched in April to improve clubhouse facilities at grassroots football clubs across the UK and is set to deliver more than 450 kitchens to clubs over a three-year period.

Chris Lines who is chair to Cheetham Hill Sports Club said: โ€œWe are thrilled to have been selected to be part of the Howdens Game Changer programme, and to be receiving a new kitchen in our clubhouse. Having this new kitchen will mean that the clubhouse can be used by the whole community, from our junior players to parents and supporters, and to our volunteers who give up their time each week to support us. It really is great to see the impact that the Game Changer programme is having on grass roots football first-hand.โ€

The Howdens Game Changer programme was launched by football legends Jill Scott, MBE and Chris Kamara, MBE who lent their support by driving home the importance of grassroots football and clubhouse facilities on their own careers.

With depots all over the country, Howdens carries one of the largest in-stock ranges in the UK across kitchens, flooring, joinery and hardware, so that products are readily available and projects of any size can be completed without delay.

Here at Cheetham Hill Sports Club we are a not-for-profit organisation, which simply means that any excess dollars we have are used to maintain or improve our facilities ๐Ÿ‘

Currently our refurbishment program of the male changing rooms is well underway and very shortly work will also start on the ramps to allow wheelchair access to our change room facility making them inclusive to all ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Cheetham Hill SC provides multi sports facilities to over 450 juniors and also hosts a holiday club to help serve the local community that is inclusive to all !

So WHY would anyone want to try and steal our football goalposts that are used and enjoyed by so many children here at Cheetham Hill ? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Lads โ€ฆ our football coachโ€™s teach character, opportunity, respect and excellence for enjoyment โ€ฆ if you would like to play football โ€ฆ come and talk to us โ€ฆ and we will try and SUPPORT you โ€ฆ that surely must be better than TARGETING us ๐Ÿ‘

Here at CHSC we are aboslutley stoked to announce that we have been selected to be part of the Howdens Game Changer Program ! ๐Ÿ‘

Which means that we can now completely modernise our dated club KITCHEN facility with a latest state of the art equipment and cabinets through Howdens ๐Ÿ™Œ

Over the summer months we are pleased to help host our friendly local construction company A.E. Yates โš’๏ธ

Already they have had a positive impact on our premises by helping repair our concrete fence, filling potholes and by helping get an electrical duct in place ๐Ÿ‘

However as part of thier social value offering. I am excited to tell you that they will also help us put disabled ramps into our new refurbished change rooms, finally making them inclusive to all ๐Ÿ™Œ

So we move fast here at CHSC ! ! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ

Our new Office and Archive room is now finished and already we are moving our old archive records inside for safe keeping under lock and key ๐Ÿ” ๐Ÿ‘

So far we have identified records and trophies dating back to the 1870โ€s with lots more records to sort through.

A selection of these records are shown below, if YOU might have any Cheetham Hill SC photos or memorabilia please do get in touch, we would be interested in taking copies for our archive records ๐Ÿ‘

(Big thanks to Scott who helped replace our rotted floor making this facility fit for purpose once again)
