If there's one team that brings the vibes wherever they go, it's our Bronzes. ✨ The football took a while to click, a tough season working through different ideas and formations until it all came together on the final stretch. And when it did? A 2–1 win at Gigg Lane, their first win of the season, sent confidence and morale through the roof. They held our own against a Division 1 side in the cup and started banging in goals as the season closed out, finishing on a high and giving coach Sarah the results she deserved. 😁 Beth and Dani leading as top goal scorers up front.

But honestly, the energy was the constant all season, good vibes, big laughs, and a team that lifts every room (and every pitch) they're on.

Massive thank you to Lauren Oakman and Eadie Weston for two brilliant years as captains. The armband passes to Lauren McLoughlin, with Emma Davies as vice. 🧡

One of the standout moments of the Blacks' season came in a cup tie vs Maccabi, a proper battle from start to finish. 3 from 3. A clean sheet in the shootout. One very tough team sent packing.

They struck first from a beautiful free kick, went 2–1 down, then fought back with a second-half goal to force penalties. Pure graft from everyone against a seriously tough side. The shootout? 3 from 3 scored, and Justin kept a clean sheet across every Maccabi penalty.

And, of course, it ended in the pub, win or lose, that one's non-negotiable.

Oranges, this one's for you. It wasn't always easy this season, but the moments that mattered? Unforgettable. That 5–1 at Gigg Lane where we scored all six goals (yes, all six 😏) reminded us exactly what this team is made of. And off the pitch, the bond grew stronger, including a pool game so long it should've had its own season ticket, settled by a frankly sublime pot of the black.
Tough seasons build the tightest teams. Proud of every one of you. We can't wait to see what next season brings 💪
