This summer just gone I lost my dad to brain cancer. In memory of my dad my club at university, MMU Equestrian Club are partnering with MMU Rugby League to raise some money for The Brain Tumour Charity 🏇🏼🏈
Brain cancer is one of the most deadly cancers, with those aged over 40 only having a 21% survival rate, despite this it is also the least researched and funded..
To combat this my club will be throwing the rugby lads into a riding crash course, where they will all experience their first riding lesson!
Let’s see if it’s as easy as they think 😏
My dad would have absolutely loved this event, he was one of my biggest supporters in my riding adventures and would have had such a laugh at the lads giving it their best!
I would love to raise as much money as I can to help prevent others go through what my dad suffered, he fought it every day, and I now want to help others fight in his legacy! 🫶🏼
