❤️Hello everyone 🤩The Batizado 2021 is finally happening and we would like to invite you to join us!

There is loads to look forward to:

We’ll be celebrating the first year of TUCUM Capoeira
We’ll be celebrating Capoeira itself… It’s been too long since last Capo gathering!

And we are going to have our GTI for advanced students at last …

We’d love to have you here in Manchester for 3 days filled with training, learning, playing, catching up and having fun!

So if you want to take part please get in touch so we can understand how much space we gonna need and you can have the best experience possible.

🟤TUCUM … Wood strong as iron, resistant as time!

This was the idea that I always carried with me, bringing it to everything I did and do, taking it everywhere I went.

So, through this name, it was the most symbolic way I found to represent what I believe as a person, and based on these principles of strength, courage and endurance, I walk, I fight and I am Capoeira.

And on this path I have students, friends and people who trust and are together with me always.

🟢TUCUM - "needle for sewing" - For me it represents Capoeira in its simplest form, but full of mysteries and ways, in its ups and downs, sewing, closing wounds and marks of the past, embracing fears and overcoming the difficulties of the future.

⚫TUCUM “Hardwood as iron” and I say in terms of community as well, we must be strong but at the same time flexible within our concepts, always respecting others.

🔵TUCUM - "Fruit with medicinal properties" represented here by my students, teachers, and everyone involved, using our art as therapy, a professional way to improve both physical and emotional life.

⚫TUCUM - “magic ring and strong symbolism” It is the firmament between me, my students and capoeira. A symbol of our commitment to the art, to honesty, integrity, loyalty, respect, dignity, transparency and fairness, these will be the principles that will base our decisions.

This will be our new History

E hoje é meu aniversário de 40 anos, 27 anos de Capoeira e 24 dentro do Grupo Cordão de ouro ,então escolhi está data para falar um pouco dessa nova etapa na minha vida .

Desde já agradeço a todos que estiveram ao meu lado nessa minha trajetória e TMJ sempre...

🟢TUCUM … Madeira forte como o ferro, resistente como o tempo!

Essa foi a idéia que sempre carreguei comigo, trazendo pra tudo que fiz e faço ,levando por todos lugares onde andei .

Então, através desse nome foi a maneira mais simbólica que eu encontrei para representar aquilo que acredito como pessoa, e baseado nesses princípios de força, coragem e resistência é que eu caminho, é que eu luto e é que eu sou Capoeira.

E nesse caminho tenho alunos, amigos e pessoas que confiam e estão juntos comigo sempre .

🟤TUCUM - "agulha para costurar"- Para mim representa a Capoeira em sua forma mais simples, porém cheia de mistérios e trejeitos nos seus altos e baixos, costurando, fechando feridas e marcas do passado, abraçando os medos e vencendo as dificuldades do futuro.

⚫TUCUM “Madeira dura como ferro” e digo em termos de comunidade também, devemos ser fortes mas ao mesmo tempo flexíveis dentro de nossos conceitos sempre respeitando o próximo.

🔵TUCUM - “Fruto com propriedades medicinais” aqui representado pelos meus alunos, professores, e todos envolvidos, a usar da nossa arte como terapia, uma maneira profissional de melhorar a vida tanto física como emocional.

🔴TUCUM - “anel mágico e de simbolismo forte”É o firmamento entre eu, meus alunos e a capoeira. Um símbolo de nosso comprometimento com a arte, com à honestidade, integridade, lealdade, respeito, dignidade, transparência e justiça, esses serão os princípios que fundamentarão as nossas decisões.
