Some decent quality photos from the day. It was after this moment I knew Nicola was the one I needed to be with forever. She stuck by my side through the entire prep and helped me keep sane. This competition is one of my proudest failures. I did it with no coach. I done my own posing, made my own routine and 6 months of cutting with my mind playing tricks on me and no reassurance from anyone but my fiancé. I was having nightmares days before dreaming I messed it up, second guessing myself all the time and trying to run a PT business alongside it all.
I learned a lot.
Going into a comp not knowing what’s happening or how it’s ran was pretty hard. Possibly entering the wrong class for my build and shape, looking at my body and seeing something entirely different from what others see. I’m proud.
Truly one of my greatest feats and I never won. In my head I won of course because
