Not sure this is specifically true. There’s no real outstanding pace in City’s back four, I think it’s more an issue with profiles and on current evidence, Varane and Martinez suit each other the better than anyone that Maguire could pair with.⁣⁣

A quieter second half but the win was needed. Some very good individual performances throughout the game which is the main positive. Eriksen, Sancho and Mctominay the pick of the bunch, a lot of the positive link up play came from them. Manchester Derby when we’re back from the international break, looking forward to it.⁣
