Sport Women want to get the younger female generation into sport, and to feel confident doing so!

Sport is an amazing thing. Not only for fitness and wellbeing, but for making friends, your mental health and to become a part fo a community. Sport Women is a community, and we want you to get involved.

We work with local schools, community centres and sports teams to inspire the next generation of girls. We have created a programme called 'girls into sport', which involves the radio station working with you to talk about sport and encourage you to take part.

However, the programme is not only for sport! It also gives girls from the ages of 13-20 an opportunity to help produce Sport Women. This includes producing, presenting, and researching into the chosen shows they are interested in.
