What a brilliant day at Bournville & Kings Heath Hockey Club! 🏑☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make Club Day such a great way to kick off the new season. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, new members and plenty of hockey being played! 💙💛

A special thank you to:

👧 Youth Membership Eligibility
Players must be under 16 on 1 September 2026 to be eligible for youth membership.

💷 Good news! We’ve been able to keep all membership prices and match fees the same as last season 🙌 The only change is a small increase to the sibling deals for our Youth Academy.

🏏 Kings Heath Cricket & Sports Club Membership
Members aged 18 or over on 1 September 2026 will automatically become members of Kings Heath Cricket & Sports Club.

This gives you access to:
🍔 Members’ prices on food & drinks
🏠 The club house
🏑 Reduced membership prices for other sports offered by the club

📲 Important: Memberships will be assigned to your Teamo account ready for payment. Please keep an eye out for this! Memberships will not be processed until payment has been made.

Fancy picking up a stick again? Or never played before but always wanted to give hockey a go? Everyone is welcome! 🙌

Join us for our Back to Hockey sessions this September at King Edward’s Girls School— with sticks provided, so all you need to bring is your shin pads, suitable astro shoes and a willingness to give it a go!

What an incredible achievement for our very own Avtar and Adrian, who have been crowned World Cup Masters Men’s Over 65s Champions! 🌍🏑

A special mention to Avtar, who not only captained the side to victory, but also scored the opening goal in the final against Argentina! 🇬🇧⚡️

🚨Club day 2026!🚨

Club day is back, even bigger and better than last year! Join us for a mixed tournament at the opening of Camp Hill hockey pitch, on Saturday 5th September. Arrival will be from 1:15, for a 1:45 start to the tournament. All abilities welcome, and friends and family are encouraged to come along and join in! 🥳🥂👭

The day of hockey begins even earlier, with our Ladies’ 1s playing a friendly at 9:30, with the Men’s 1s following. Please come along to watch if you can! 👀☀️🙌

There will be finger food, cakes and soft drinks available to purchase from midday. If you’d like to help out by baking or bringing any food please drop me or your club captain a message! 🧁🍰🎂

Wash off and join us afterwards for an evening of food, drinks and fun at the clubhouse, just a 2 minute drive around the corner! 🍕🍻🎉

Tickets for club day, and the evening food can now be purchased on Teamo. Prices will go up in 2 weeks time, so get yours early! 🎟️🎟️🎟️

Massive thank you to every player and umpire who gave up their time throughout the summer to make the league such a success. Your commitment, enthusiasm and competitive spirit made for some brilliant hockey! 👏

A huge congratulations to Kate Cullotty on an incredible achievement! 💙

Kate has returned from the World Masters Hockey World Cup 2026 in Brasschaat, Antwerp with a 🥇 gold medal, captaining the England O60s IMC team to World Cup glory! 🏆

What an achievement and an incredible honour to captain her country on the world stage. 🌎👏

Everyone at BKH is incredibly proud of you, Kate — congratulations on an amazing tournament and a very well-deserved gold medal! 💙💛
