Hello! Hope everyone is doing ok. I thought I’d share with you my latest tips on eating well and not having to go shopping too often. I cooked up this delicious gammon last week and we have enjoyed the following meals from it;

- gammon with cheesy leeks
- chicken and ham pie with filo pastry (The Hairy Dieters)
- gammon with chickpea, tomato and aubergine roasted (Hugh’s Three Good Things)
- ham pea and mint soup
- gammon with dauphinois potatoes
- spaghetti carbonara
- gammon with asparagus, new potatoes and halloumi (Hugh’s Three Good Things)
- sliced gammon and salad
- ham cheese and pickle sandwich

How is everybody? Not going to lie I felt a bit fed up this afternoon despite the gorgeous sunshine today. So I forced myself to do a 15 minute Hiit workout, followed by a yoga session on YouTube and then a relaxing soak in the bath. Amazing what a bit of exercise and self indulgence does to your mood. Keep hold of your mojo everybody and feel free to ask me for tips!

Hello all, a little workout you can do from home. All you need is a stopwatch and maybe a drink to hand.

Accumulator; 5 exercises

1. Wall squat
2. Forward lunge alternating legs
3. Jumping jacks (or half jacks)
4. Shuttle runs (or power walk)
5. Floor to ceiling jumps (low level - take out the jump stand on tip toes bend down touch floor)

Do exercise 1 for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds

Do exercise 1 for 30 seconds, exercise 2 for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds

Do exercise 1 for 30 seconds, exercise 2 for 30 seconds, exercise 3 for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds

Keep going until you are doing all 5 exercises back to back. Have a minutes rest and then go back down the pyramid until you finish with a wall squat.

So if I’ve done my maths right that is a total of a 15 minute workout. Short, sharp, DONE!!

What to do on a snow day when you can’t get to your RPM class or teach Buggyfit.

Take a beautiful snowy walk with the dog, then:

4 sets 30secs on, 30 secs rest with dumbbells

Bicep curls
Weighted squats
Romanian deadlift
Shoulder press
Weighted step ups
Triceps dips

Followed by 4 sets 40 secs on, 20 secs rest

Crunches
Toe touches
Bicycle crunches
Leg lowers
Plank
Side plank alternating sides
