Malhamdale Echo is such a pretty filly. From the same line as the lovely Logan on her dams side and daughter of Apollo. This pony should have all the makings of a lovely riding pony for the future. Feel free to contact me for more details.

When 4 year olds are this steady and sensible it makes the job so much easier. Caphouse Jack. What a dude. Is available for matching.

It’s time to get your entry in for the Dales Pony Society President’s Ride on the 5th July this year at Craven Country Ride. It is a ride suitable for all ages and abilities. The pace of the morning’s ride will be steady. I’m leading it on a newly backed 4 year old so will be keeping things calm. We have 3 qualified ride leaders on the ride so plenty of help and you can partner up with a steady partner to position yourself where you feel safe. Refreshments part way round. Great lunch is planned. Photographer at the ready. Rosettes presented by the president of the society and then for anyone who wants to be led round on a faster jumping ride in the afternoon I’ll switch ponies to enjoy the charge across the fields. The grounds are ours for the day so if anyone wants to jump round at their own pace in the afternoon that’s fine too, there’s plenty of space to take yourself off to enjoy things in your own comfort zone. So really no excuse for anyone not to enter. Led youngsters also welcome as the morning ride pace will be a long trek line kept at an easy pace. You need to be members of the society and on a registered pony. See you there! Any questions, ask away!

What a wet month for foaling. Malhamdale Juno arrived in the last of the evening light last night. Luckily experienced a mainly dry night but then it’s been yet another a very soggy morning.Thank goodness the Dales foals are born with such good coats. Little Chiquita isn’t so lucky. That’s a wrap for Malhamdale foals. All fillies. Juno is by Malhamdale Apocalypto out of Earnwell Jess and has such long legs!

Welcome Malhamdale Écho, by Malhamdale Apocalypto out of Griseburn Poppy. A super all black filly. Poppy really does have a type so Echo seemed appropriate but also continues the theme of gods and goddess names for Apollo’s offspring. And if this little one can be a mountain nymph I’m sure that will suit her future human whoever that may be. Very pleased with this girl, she’s a cracking size.

Well 4 year olds Malhamdale Minerva and Caphouse Max went to Craven Country Ride today accompanied by Griseburn Logan for a little adventure. They rocked up like they’d always been there and really took things in their stride. It’s so nice when the training comes together so that they can be confident in new challenges. Max’s new owner is making the most of getting out and about with us on Max for the rest of this month before she takes him to his new home. To top a lovely morning off we came home to a lovely filly foal from Griseburn Poppy.

A perfect way to celebrate Max starting new adventures with a new owner! We boxed down to the Broughton estate to meet up with Paris and Rocky and to ride over their wonderful rewilded acres along fantastic grass tracks. Max was a super star along with Minerva, Logan and Penny who met up with us also. I love catching up with ponies I’ve trained and watching their owners enjoy them. I can just tell that Max is one lucky pony who will get plenty more fun adventures with his very happy owner. Paris, it was a delight as always and thanks for having us.

Chiquita thought the arena was a big world first time she got out of the stable. It just got a whole bit bigger.
