It doesn’t get much better than this 🙏

That’s a proud man right there.

His two girls with him every step of the way.

Elation.

Not because he just ran his first ever 10km race…

But the journey he’s been on since committing to improving his health, fitness, and body shape.

The journey of showing up for himself.

The journey of losing over 10kgs.

The journey of proving that he can.

The journey of prioritising his health & wellbeing.

The journey of challenging himself to evolve into a better person.

The journey of finding balance with work, family and fitness.

37 years young 👊

Healthy.
Strong.
Fit.
Confident.
Balanced.

L&F X LEEDS 10K 🏅

It’s becoming a yearly tradition!

Always such a great event, and amazing to challenge a handful of clients to achieve something meaningful 👏🏻

Helen - another 10k race in the bag. Entering phase Lean tomorrow, and then building for another Hyrox at the end of the year 🤩

Mahesh - first ever 10km race smashed. Managed it in under 55 minutes! Enjoyed some beers and planned his end of year Hyrox 🤪

Emma - First ever 10km race done! From someone that never believed she could be a runner, and only started end of February this year - is an incredible achievement👏🏻

Me - 40:03. To say I’ve done no specific 10km training with Hyrox being the focus, I’m proud of this. Running is going to be the big focus moving forward so excited to see what I can do here 🚀

Life is funner and more fulfilling with fitness in it 👈

A few things I learnt from my recent trip to Riga 🇱🇻

You don’t need to be anything other than your current self to start.

✖️ Don’t need to be an athlete.
✖️ Don’t need to be fit.
✖️ Don’t need to be motivated.
✖️ Don’t need to live a quiet life.

There is NO prerequisite.

All you need is a desire to change - that’s it.

👉 Fitness is more than just looking good - it’s a feeling, a lifestyle, a mindset that can fill voids in your life.

👉 When you feel stretched and overwhelmed in life, that’s your sign to commit. You’ll surprise yourself at how adaptable you can be, and the positive knock on effect it will have.
 
👉 Life’s too short to be playing it safe. Be curious, lean in, do epic sh*t, and create lasting memories.

The journey you go on to proving you can is liberating.

Health, fitness, and weight loss doesn’t have to be this restrictive, demoralising process like you think…

It’s liberating when you finally learn how to build it into your daily life so that it enhances the quality of it, not restricts it.

Too many over 30’s let their mindset hold them back prioritising themselves.

Life is too short to feel rubbish in yourself and neglect your health & wellbeing.

It should be about 👇

🤩 Showing up as the best version of yourself

🤩 Seeing what you are capable of

🤩 Being happy within the 4 walls of your head

Thats how you build confidence, find happiness, and enjoy success across all facets of life 🤝
