👉 This well-maintained 2015 Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 is up for €114,900 (EU VAT not paid) from Master Yachting in Germany (lying Split, Croatia). Serenity is the 3-cabin, standard-draft version of this sharp-looking Finot-Conq fast cruiser, drawing 2.18m and setting a healthy amount of sail via a tall fractional rig. The design is an upgrade on the previous Oceanis 41, where improvements to the build process reduced weight by 800kg. Serenity is clearly an ex-charter boat, but she looks well maintained and equipped.

✨ Serenity has better sails than your typical charter boat, with a slab-reefed main in a stack pack, a set of Elvström Windward 300+ sails for cruising, and a set of laminate racing sails which have only been used for 10 days. Other equipment includes an electric windlass, autopilot, air conditioning (shore power only), Fusion stereo, hot water (including cockpit shower), fridge, inverter and shore power.

💎 Below, this 3-cabin version has twin aft cabins, and a large head with separate shower, located aft on the port side. The galley is a little compact, but has a massive 190 litre fridge which can be accessed from an aft-facing door as well as from the top. The saloon has a dinette to starboard and a cocktail-table style layout to port. The forward cabin has an unusual angled double berth which makes room for the en-suite head, and is actually quite a clever use of space.

⛵️ Power is from a 45hp Yanmar 4JH45, mated to an SD50 saildrive. This saildrive model needs a cone clutch inspection every 500 hours, and a modification to the clutch is available. There’s excellent engine access at the front and the sides. Electronics are the factory-fitted B&G system, and the chartplotter could probably do with an update. Standing rigging is likely to be original, and if so will need replacing soon. Otherwise, Serenity looks like a nice example, and she’d suit anyone looking for a modern and spacious cruiser in beautiful Croatia.

👉 This well-maintained 1996 Dehler 41 DS is up for €120,000 from a private seller in Seedorf, Germany. This Judel/Vrolijk design might look sensible and cruising oriented, but she’s actually a wolf in sheep’s clothing, with a tall fractional rig and easily driven underwater hull profile. Electric winches and a self-tacking jib mean she’s easily handled by a couple or solo sailor.

✨ Grete 3 has the standard keel, drawing 1.95m, and teak decks. She had new rudder bearings and all her windows replaced in 2026. In 2025 she had a new shaft seal and new domestic batteries. Her standing rigging was completely replaced in 2023. Equipment includes a bow thruster, autopilot, liferaft (serviced 2026), heating, hot water (including deck shower), electric toilet, fridge and shore power.

💎 Inside, her deck saloon has a large dinette seating area on starboard, and a forward-facing nav station on port where the boat can be steered by autopilot. Steps down lead to a linear galley with twin sinks, which also forms a corridor to reach the double aft cabin. Moving forward there’s a large head and shower to starboard of the galley, and a large forecabin.

⛵️ Power is from a 48hp Yanmar 4JH2E with 3,700 hours recorded, mated to a traditional shaft drive. While there has been some good recent maintenance, I would still look carefully at the condition of the teak deck. Age and condition of her sails are not stated and should be followed up on. Her electronics also look ancient and in need of an upgrade. The asking price is perhaps 10-15% higher than I’d expect, but a private seller is often willing to negotiate with a serious buyer, and she’d make an excellent boat for speedy, middle-distance passages.

👉 This tidy 2007 Hanse 400e is up for €119,500 from a private seller in Hoorn, Netherlands. As we know, this handsome Judel/Vrolijk design is an efficient passagemaker, with a tall fractional rig, long waterline, and a self-tacking jib that makes her easy to sail short-handed. Life is the three-cabin, single-head layout, with the 1.98m L-keel and single wheel seen on earlier versions of the boat, and a teak deck. She has the more traditional-style aluminium-framed windows, which I prefer to the Mk2’s blacked-out ports.

✨ The “e” means she was built with epoxy resin, resulting in a stiffer hull, and making her around 500kg lighter than the standard model. Equipment includes bow thruster, electric windlass, autopilot, radar, heating, hot water, fridge and shore power.

💎 Below, she has two double aft cabins, an aft heads to port (with a stand-up shower), and a useful L-shaped galley opposite, to starboard. Her saloon has a dinette on the starboard side, and the typical Hanse “cocktail table” layout to port, which doubles as a nav station. In the forepeak she has a large V-berth, with a dressing area and storage each side.

⛵️ Power is from a 39hp Yanmar 3JH4-E, mated to a saildrive. This is one of those ads with good pictures but very little text, so any serious buyer needs to follow up on basically everything. That includes the condition of the teak deck, age of standing rigging, age and condition of sails, spec of electronics, and the service history of the engine and saildrive. If at least some of those big-ticket items check out, this looks like a really nice example, and would suit anyone looking for a well-styled fast cruiser with good sailing characteristics and plenty of accommodation.

👉 This tidy 2000 Dehler 41 CR is up for £100,000 from Ancasta in Plymouth, UK. This Judel/Vrolijk design shares her hull and rig with the deck saloon 41 DS, but has a conventional aft cockpit layout. This is a fast and stable boat, with a tall fractional rig and a healthy ballast ratio courtesy of a 2m fin and bulb keel. This power is easily managed short-handed, due to a pair of electric winches and a bank of clutches mounted on each side of the wheel. Sea Fever has a fixed windscreen, a nice addition for cruising - they’re usually much easier to see out of than sprayhood windows.

✨ She looks in nice condition for her age, with the exception of her non-slip deck which is starting to discolour. Replacing this with modern deck paint would take years off the boat’s appearance. She had a new Icom DSC VHF in 2026, and new batteries in 2025/26. Her rudder bearings were replaced in 2024, and she had a new Raymarine autopilot fitted. Other equipment includes electric windlass, AIS, Webasto heating, hot water, front-opening fridge and shore power.

💎 Below, she has two double cabins aft, two heads and shower compartments (one en-suite to the double forecabin), the trademark Dehler transverse nav station with flip-out seat, and a huge saloon, with a dinette to starboard and a long, linear galley to port.

⛵️ Power is from a clean-looking 48hp Yanmar 3JH2-TCE, with 1,895 hours recorded, mated to a traditional shaft drive. There’s lots of recent engine maintenance listed in the ad. Standing rigging is from 2015 and strictly speaking should be replaced next year. Her mainsail is from 2021, but the ages of other sails are not stated. Electronics are a mix of generations. If everything works, I’d just update the chartplotter. Otherwise, Sea Fever looks in nice shape, and would suit anyone looking for a tough fast cruiser for passagemaking in comfort.

👉 This well-maintained 2001 Dufour 36 Classic is up for €69,000 from a private seller in Germany (lying Grado, Italy). This example is the three-cabin, single-head version of this Mortain and Mavrikos-designed cruiser, with the 1.8m standard keel. Regular readers will know my parents had one of these, and it was a great family boat, offering plenty of space and decent sailing performance for a cruiser.

✨ Her underwater hull was stripped and refinished in 2025, and she had new plumbing, fuel lines and a new fridge in 2024. In 2023, she had a new shore power system fitted, her interior wood was refurbished, and she had new depth and speed transducers fitted. Her interior lighting was converted to LED in 2022, and all seacocks were replaced. In 2021 she had new standing rigging and external canvas, and her saildrive gaiter was replaced. Other equipment includes autopilot, radar, AIS, solar power, hot water and a liferaft.

💎 Below, her saloon has a linear galley on starboard, with the head behind, and a dinette on port, with a full-size forward-facing nav station immediately aft. The forecabin has a pullman offset double on the port side, with a dressing seat adjacent. There are two large aft cabins at the back, meaning plenty of room for guests to stay over.

⛵️ Power is from a 27hp Volvo Penta MD2030 diesel, with 2,415 hours recorded. Age and condition of sails are not mentioned and should be followed up on. Otherwise, there are no real watch-outs, and she would make a great Mediterranean cruiser for anyone looking for a 3-cabin boat.

👉 This well-maintained 2011 Italia Yachts 10.98 is up for €120,000 from Nordic Yachting in Stellendam, Netherlands (lying Hellevoetsluis). This brand is rare where I sail in the UK, but we were recently beaten into 4th place by a smaller, Belgium-based 9.98 in the very light winds at this year’s IRC European Championships in Poole. Like her little sister, the 10.98 has a high sail area to displacement ratio (26.9), and can get moving under sail in conditions where other boats will be motoring.

✨ In the Med, Italia Yachts are well known for winning races, but all the models also sport a luxurious interior. This 10.98 was penned by Cossutti Yacht Design and has an unusual raked transom, rare for a boat with an otherwise modern aesthetic. Her hull is built from e-glass with a PVC core, and carbon fibre reinforcement in high-load areas, and she has a tall, twin-spreader fractional rig.

💎 Looking at her sail wardrobe (Quantum laminates from 2016 and North cruising sails from 2020/22), and the fact she has a sprayhood, it’s fair to assume this one has spent the last few years cruising. She looks in nice condition above deck, and her beautiful interior has aged well. She has the perfect layout for her 37-foot LOA, with double cabins fore and aft, twin settees in the saloon, and an aft head on the starboard side. On port, there’s a compact L-shaped galley, with a forward-facing nav station opposite.

⛵️ Power is from a clean-looking 30hp Lombardini diesel, with just 750 hours recorded. I would assume her standing rigging is original, and her electronics could do with an upgrade. She looks in great basic condition, however, and would suit anyone looking for a quality fast cruiser with the potential for a race or two when you fancy it.

👉 This lightly used 2005 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3 is up for €61,500 from Network Yacht Brokers in Lefkas, Greece. This Daniel Andrieu design is a spacious fast cruiser, with good quality Harken winches and deck gear, and a practical twin-wheel cockpit layout. The 40.3 was one of the last Jeanneau models to be built in a more traditional way (for a GRP factory boat), with glassed-in stringers, tabbed bulkheads, and a Burmese teak-trimmed interior.

✨ This example had 6 new saloon windows in 2025, a new chartplotter in 2023 and a 150W solar installation in 2021. The broker says she has never been chartered, and the photos of the interior support the claim that she’s only been used for a handful of weeks each summer. Reading between the lines, it’s likely the new owner would be looking at replacing sails and standing rigging, but the price leaves some headroom for that.

💎 Below, she has a large owner’s cabin in the forepeak with en-suite head and shower, and twin aft cabins with another head and shower opposite the L-shaped galley. Her main saloon area is bright and spacious, with dinette seating to starboard, a smaller settee on the port side, and a forward-facing nav station with the sliding nav table that was common in Jeanneaus of this era.

⛵️ Power is from a clean-looking 55hp Yanmar 4JH4E, mated to a traditional shaft drive. Electronics are original Raymarine, but the plotter has been replaced with a recent (if low-spec) model. All in all, she looks in good basic condition, and at this price could be treated to some upgrades to create a solid and spacious fast cruiser.

👉 This beautiful 1988 Hallberg-Rassy 382 is up for €115,000 from BootsProfis in Berlin, Germany (lying Kiel). The Swedish yard built 116 of this Olle Enderlein design between 1984 and 1992. The 382 is a substantial centre cockpit cruiser, with a tough masthead rig, a long fin keel and a skeg-hung rudder. As with many other H-R designs, tankage is designed into the ballasted area, keeping weight low, and providing 335L of fuel and 580L of water, ideal for bluewater cruising.

✨ Emotion has had a major refit since her current owner purchased her in 2021. She had new deck hatches, batteries and a new bow roller in 2025. In 2023 she had new interior upholstery and mattresses, a new liferaft, an Orca Core and Display, and Starlink and a WiFi router. In 2022 she had a new electric windlass with remote and chain counter, a new Icom VHF with command mic, a new Eno gas oven, and her through-hulls were replaced. In 2021 she had a new mainsail, genoa and gennaker, her standing rigging was replaced, and she had a new Raymarine electronics package, including chart plotter, autopilot, AIS and instruments.

💎 Below, the layout is mostly the same as the previous 38, but with a redesigned F-shaped galley. The layout doesn’t try to squeeze too much in, meaning spacious cabins fore and aft, a large heads forward, a comfortable saloon and a forward-facing nav station. There’s plenty of storage all around the boat, and the joinery is of exceptional quality.

⛵️ Power comes from a 62hp Volvo Penta MD31A with 3,500 hours recorded, mated to a traditional shaft drive. The engine is not pictured, so its condition should be followed up on. Emotion looks like an excellent bet for some comfortable middle-distance sailing, and could go anywhere with the addition of solar power and a watermaker.

👉 This well-maintained 2001 Bavaria 44 Cruiser is up for €85,000 from The Yacht Sales Co in Prcanj, Montenegro. Carmen of Zabbar is the 4-cabin version of this spacious J&J-designed fast cruiser. The ad doesn’t state her draft, but the standard keel draws 1.95m. She sets plenty of sail via a tall fractional rig, with a furling main and genoa, and has a nice twin-wheel cockpit layout with a clear path from the companionway to the swim platform.

✨ Carmen of Zabbar had a replacement engine in 2018, and has had a recent major refit, including standing rigging, sails, electronics and a retractable bow thruster. Other equipment includes air conditioning, heating, watermaker, generator and Starlink. Below, the owner has added a large central unit in the saloon which looks like it accommodates a fridge and freezer, and they’ve also converted the galley to electric cooking. I would want lots of solar, rather than a generator if I were going to stick with that. If not, it should be easy enough to re-install a gas cooker.

💎 Inside, she’s a very big boat, and still feels spacious even with 4 cabins. She has two double cabins aft, and a head and shower to port of the companionway, with a forward-facing nav station opposite. The saloon has a huge dinette on starboard, and a linear galley on port. Forward, there’s a pullman cabin to starboard with two bunk beds, and a large head opposite, which also serves the double forecabin.

⛵️ Power is from the aforementioned 2018 Volvo Penta D2-40 diesel with just 750 hours recorded, mated to a saildrive. All the big-ticket items seem to have been taken care of, and Carmen of Zabbar looks like a good starting point for a distance cruiser. The price seems competitive to me, and the interior island mod should be easy enough to reverse if you hate it.

Otherwise, this looks like a really nice example, and would suit anyone looking for a well-styled fast cruiser with good sailing characteristics and plenty of accomodation.
