Job title: Swimming Assistant
Job Type: Part Time
Hours: Monday & Friday – 3.45pm-6.30pm.

Job Description:

We are a term time only swim school located at Park Drive Health Club and follow the STA International Learn to Swim Programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated & friendly teaching assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Setting up and putting away equipment
Taking the register
To work under the supervision of the qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher
Assisting with swimmer safety and developmental needs
Assisting with activities and teaching practices
To follow all safety guidelines as stated in the PSOP (Pool Safety Operating Procedures)

Requirements:
Must be aged 16yrs or over
(preferred but not required) SE Level 1 Swimming Teacher
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team
Look and behave professionally

With warm weather forecast this week, more of us will enjoy spending time in, on, or around water, so it’s important to stay safe.

Almost half (47%) of UK accidental drownings happen between May and August, with higher risks during warmer weather.

Keep yourself and your family safe:
• Check for hazards, including depth, currents, tides, and hidden underwater objects.
• Stay together and swim in lifeguarded areas.

In an emergency:
