This morning Wateringbury U13 Boys ended their season securing promotion to the B League for their U14’s Season.

A lot of effort, hard work & determination from all involved, but ultimately credit goes to the lads for delivering some great performances and the results to achieve promotion.

Now it’s time to enjoy the moment and the summer break before it all starts again! - James I ( Coach U13’s) 💙⚽️

Wateringbury U13 Boys were in action this weekend with an away fixture to Heathfield & Horam Hawks in the 2nd Round of the C&DJFL Knock Out Cup.

This match was in everyway a Cup game with the lads showing true determination coming back from being 2-0 down at half time and 3-1 down early in the 2nd half to a Full Time Score of 3-3 taking the match to Extra Time.

Extra Time proved to be real end to end stuff with missed opportunities for both teams but with 2 minutes left on the clock in the 2nd period of Extra Time Wateringbury managed to score what turned out to be the decisive goal winning the match 4-3.

A hard fought match by two teams that played some great football.

Wateringbury U13s finish their incredible season as league winners and unbeaten with 19 wins and 1 draw. 120 goals scored under the superb guidance of Sam Killick and Geoff King. A 4-0 home win in the final match at home saw the champagne flowing!! ⚽️ 🍾 💙
