The Dive Centre is a large fully stocked shop with a wide range of gear to try on, purchase and rent : we also service all kinds of scuba gear. We offer every PADI Course from Beginner to Instructor and Technical training as well - with schedules to run every course every month. We have a very active Diving & Social Club with club nights on Fridays monthly, and regular weekend dive trips all over

the UK. Our Pool dive nights every Tuesday & Thursday are great fun (with a social after too !). The Blue Ocean Dive Holiday trips are legendary - Red Sea, South Africa, Maldives, Indonesia, Philippines, Caymans : great fun with great friends.

Two weeks ago, this young man spent two days at the lakes with the BlueOcean Team on the Open water Diver course…
He did incredibly well, but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t complete it all - there was one thing that just couldn’t do, and despite encouragement from his “big” brother who had been with him on the course all the way - he was unable to complete the course.
He was exhausted and frustrated, and not just a little upset… but he was determined.

Today he returned to the lakes and nailed it 😃

Congratulations to 10yr old Nico and 12yr old Diego for qualifying as PADI Open Water Divers 😎

CapernWray & Farnes 5-9 Aug 2026

Departing Weds 5th August to drive up in convoy to the Southern Lake District - with a nice pub lunch stop on the way…
Two nights in Lancaster for two days (5 dives) at CapernWray quarry, including twin share accommodation, dive site entrance, air fills and group guided diving…
Then we drive over to Northumbria for two nights at Alnwick and two days diving with the Seal Colony at the Farne Islands; includes twin share accommodation, boat fees & air fills, with group diving…
