We are now moving to a new venue in Maidstone, our mats were unfortunately damaged at the old Dojo.

In addition to our mats being damaged, the current style of mat is no longer suitable for the level of training our students are reaching, they simply aren’t durable enough for the power and energy our older students now bring to their practice.

To continue providing a safe and effective training space, we’re aiming to raise funds for 64 new mats, which will allow us to fully re-mat the dojo and ensure our students can train properly and confidently.

Any support you can give - big or small - will go directly toward creating a safer and more suitable environment for all of our young martial artists.

Hello all,

Unfortunately, our mats at the Downswood Dojo have been damaged due to a recent water leak, and many are now unusable. In addition, the current style of mats is no longer suitable for the level of training our students are reaching, they simply aren’t durable enough for the power and energy our older students now bring to their practice.

To continue providing a safe and effective training space, we’re aiming to raise funds for 64 to 100 new mats, which will allow us to fully re-mat the dojo and ensure our students can train properly and confidently.
