21-year-old rower becomes the first woman to row solo & unsupported from mainland Europe to mainland South America🎊

Our incredible supporter Zara Lachlan completed her epic journey from Portugal to French Guiana on Saturday - Congratulations Zara!

The feat saw her rowing alone for 15+ hours per day, for 97 days - even over Christmas - where she encountered Sharks, whales and 20ft waves🌊

Zara recently graduated from Loughborough university and is joining the Army in May 2025 as a technical officer.

Thank you so much to Zara for choosing to support our charity through this inspiring challenge - and showing girls everywhere that they can achieve anything they put their minds to🌟
