A balanced diet? Hmm It doesn't bring positive associations to me. It really says - eat everything in moderation. But, what if I don't know what moderation is? Worse, what if eating everything in moderation is not serving me at all?

How do you know? you may ask

Well, the answer is fairly simple, but I don't think you'll like it...

I tired moderation.... and it gave me pretty nasty things.
I ate as per recommendations:
5 portions of veggies and fruits
Main source of energy from grains, wheat etc.
All low fat
Very little fish and meat
And of course - vegetable oils

You do what they say. They must know better, right? Well, bullsugar!

This did not serve me at all. But it took me a long long time to realize some that.

1. Type of food we eat reflects on our health
2. Glorified products such as fruits, juices, rice (some simple carbs), or even some veggies - they are not superfoods, at least not for everyone.
3. Calories do not matter if hormones are imbalanced

There is a quite big mindset shift that I had to make. Fairly said, my own health mattered to me enough to give a FAT a go.

There are different reasons tat may push one to make a change on their plate.

What was yours?
Or maybe you still consider whether to try LCHF?

So much confusion, as with anything really. Why make it simple, huh?

It's just in human's nature to get things way more complicated than they really are. Low carb high fat way of eating is no different.

There is so much information out there, from so many different sources. And no wonder that so many get lost, confused easily. So many people also quit and get discourage too.
I was swimming for far too long in the misleading river of false perception on what LCHF/keto way of eating is.

And still, I see so many people trying to find answers, or some sort of comfort, peace of mind. But the truth is (in my opinion) we trust way to much other people than ourselves.

Main rule here is - eat healthy fat and stop sugar and carbs. I know myself that there is too much room left, hence why the confusion.

How to eat?
What to eat?
When to eat?
etc.

I encourage you to have a look into this post and see the simplest (I hope) explanation to what LCHF is and what is the difference between keto, carnivore, paleo and generally LCHF.
