🎉 Ben Scarborough passes 12,000 runs 🎉

Congratulations to Ben Scarborough on passing this terrific milestone.

The tall right-hander has 11 centuries and 74 half centuries to his name in addition to holding the record of most sixes for the club with 318 to his name.

He passed the milestone while seeing the 1st XI home to victory in a tough game at the back end of the season.

🎉 Chris Metherell plays 400th game 🎉

Congratulations to Chris Metherell on passing this fantastic milestone in recorded games.

The man has done it all at the club, captaining many sides, running the juniors and again saw his side to victory on Saturday afternoon.

In his time at the club the wicket-keeper batsman has scored over 11,000 runs including 14 centuries and has over 300 wicket keeping dismissals to his name.

A brilliant bloke and a Waltham legend!

🎉 Tanmay passes 1,000 runs 🎉

Congratulations to Tanmay on passing this fantastic milestone. Tanmay is the 3rd Joshi to play for the club after his brother and dad and it only took him 57 innings to pass this landmark.

Tanmay has an easy on the eye batting style and has scored 6 half-centuries for the club. His current high score is 88* and we're sure it won't be long until he passes three figures!

🏏 Weekend Results 🏏

✅ The 1st XI secured a 5-wicket win away to Sulhamstead. Noah Edwards again starred with the ball taking 4 wickets with the support of spin kings Kunal Mogla & Kelvin Baillie. Dan Molloy anchored the chase with a superb 98 and will feel hard done by to not reach his century. Usman Butt had got the team off to a flier before the calmness of Ben Scarborough to see the team home.

✅ The 2nd XI completed the Waltham double with an 84 run win. Adil Pervaiz 120 continued his fine form finding the boundary regularly. Club Captain Callum Thompson dominated at the back end of the innings to reach a sizeable total. In reply wickets fell regularly with Ahsan and Beard taking 7 between them to ensure the points came Waltham's way.

❎ A bit of a mismatch on Sunday afternoon but good experience for the boys to play against a strong opposition. Mike Chapman the star of the day scoring 52 with the bat and taking 2 wickets for 4 runs.

🏏 Weekend Results | White Waltham CC 💥

A successful weekend across the club with two league wins and plenty of standout individual performances! 👏

🔥 1st XI claimed a 6-wicket victory over Thatcham Town as Adam Wi******er anchored the chase with 66, supported by Noah Edwards (44). With the ball, Cloudesley Long starred with a superb 5/42, while Sreekanth Surendran (2/34) and Noah Edwards (2/49) wrapped up the innings.

💪 2nd XI made it back-to-back wins after posting 275/6. Adil Pervaiz (90) and Umar Butt (61) laid the platform before Chris Metherell (40) finished strongly. Ahsan Muhammed (4/46) led the bowling attack as Waltham secured a convincing 59-run victory.

Unfortunately, the 3rd XI and Sunday XI both came up just short despite some excellent efforts. Luke Scarborough (45) top-scored for the 3rd XI, while Adam Khan (4/17) produced a brilliant spell with the ball.

For the Sunday XI, Janav Bhatt (37*) battled hard and dad Kaushal Bhatt (2/12 & 15) impressed with another strong all-round display.
