Just look at this beaut of a crucian that got caught by Luke at the car park end of the main lake today! It hit the scales at 1lb 9.3oz - frustratingly mere whisps shy of the lake record. Luke and his mate hit into a little cloud of crucians this arvo after a slow morning, but this was easily the best of them. What a smasher!

As our lakes are now completely frozen, we’ll be closing Finch Farm Fishery until the thaw.
