Previous bar experience is essential, along with great customer service skills and a positive, approachable attitude.

The Desborough Bowls Club Junior Section is launching brand-new Saturday morning sessions for ages 8–16, and everyone is welcome — whether you’ve never played before or already know your way around the green!

Getting more young people involved in lawn bowls!

At the Berkshire School Games, we caught up with Emma Fitzgerald, Partnership Manager for Ascot & Maidenhead School Sport Partnership, who has been working on a schools project to get more children involved in lawn bowls.

The day gave young people the chance to try the sport for themselves and experience the fantastic facilities at Desborough Bowling Club, while discovering a new and enjoyable way to get active.

It was great to see so many young people getting involved and giving bowls a go! 🙌
