Wowzaaaaa!!!
this Saturday was just OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!
As I finally sit down with a cuppa, I am trying to process everything that happened and find the right words to express the numerous feelings traveling through me after such an incredible big bash...
Gratitude comes first. I am so thankful to each and every one of you, near and far, for taking the time and making the journey to celebrate what was for me such an important milestone. It was an amazing experience to be surrounded with such a joyful and supportive crowd of friends, students and fellow instructors, it truly felt like a big happy family reunion!
Then there is pride. Pride in my journey with Zumba, and of managing to create something beautiful here in the UK, and for being able to beat my anxiety and step outside of my comfort zone to bring the Zumba love on all stages, big or small
And lucky. Definitely lucky to be surrounded, supported and encouraged by the best people. My awesome community of zumbistas showing up with gusto every week in my classes, and the fabulous network of like-minded passionate/happy/very often crazy Zins at all the events this country is lucky to get.
Thanks to all my students for being game and embracing my crazy choreos every time!
Thanks to all my Zin friends for bringing the happy vibes everywhere you go, the world needs it more than you know!
Thanks Rox for all the precious tips and incredible opportunities you have given me in the past 10 years, I have learned so much thanks to you, and I still do!
Thanks Adrian, Gabriel, Harriet, Luis and Carla and Des for always thinking of me for your events and accepting to be there at mine!
Thanks Hayley, Jaimi, Em, Heba, Daisy, Sab and Nina for the never-ending amount of fun we have every time we dance together!
(Ana we missed you, I hope you felt the vibes we sent you and are feeling better )
Laura, my sista from another mista, thanks for always having my back, supporting my crazy ideas and helping them come to life. Look at what we did!!! Look at what YOU did!!! Seeing you embrace your fear and teach on that stage made me tear up with joy. I absolutely love that we can make each other bwaver...
To my kids I want you to know there's not a day I am not in awe of you and the beautiful people you are turning into. You were so kind and helpful on Saturday, a fact warmly confirmed by the endless line up of compliments I received about you after the Bash. I love you to the moon and back a million times over!
Will I sign up for another ten?
HELL TO THE YEAH!!!
With much much Zumba love, Lu xx
