Yes people that’s right, today is the season closing fixture. With our stay in division 2 never in doubt we welcome Aigburth Cricket and Bowls Club to the OHG to close the 2022 season.

Apologies for the lack of posts this week, we entertained at the fortress and our 100% home record was maintained, thanks once again to Liam Taylor with a scintillating 103 not out! We currently sit 7th with 10 games to go, big push till the end!

This Saturday it’s the short hop up to Dalton CC for a very important game, a win could certainly make things interesting at this stage! Choo chooooo 🚂

We’re back on the road again this week as we travel to Newton-le-Willows to face league leaders Earlestown Cricket Club. Hopefully the weather stays clear and here’s to a great day of cricket! 🏏 🚂

Well, where to start with that one! Liam Taylor take a bow! 👏 3-19 with the ball followed up by an outstanding 109* with the bat to see us home with 6 overs to spare, chasing 163! MSM maintain a 100% home record! 🚂

As we approach the half way point of the season, Saturday’s win put’s us in 8th place of 12 with just 24 points separating 2nd to 8th. A run of good results over the next few weeks with stick us right in the mix! 🚂
