We think thousand of thoughts daily

Some are repetitive and they can start to seem real

We say things in our mind that are absurd, far fetched, fantasy and unkind

Some our implanted into our thoughts from external stimulus,

Some come from within

We have the power to think what we want

If we have been having thoughts for a long time, it can seem like that is our reality but we can think more positive

This can become our daily thought pattern

I always say, anything that has been learnt can be unlearnt, it just takes mindful practice

Learn what is positive, and what is not
What is productive and what is not

Bad, unkind thoughts will always enter our head, acknowledge them and let them leave as quickly as they entered.

If you ask a sick person what they want most in the world, they will say good health

To no longer be sick

And yet a healthy person can lose sight of the importance of good health

We can all get caught up spending our money on material things like; having the best car, the newest mobile phone, the designer clothes

But without your health, these things are worthless

You are number one

Your health should always be a priority

There really isn't a limit on how much you should invest in your health and wellbeing

If you think that gym membership, personal trainer ir healthy meal plan is expensive

Sickness and ill health will always cost you more in the long run

It's recommended that you get 10,000 steps in daily

Which if you're in an active job, is easily achievable

However what if you are sat at a desk all day?

Not so easy!

I remember speaking to a client many years ago and was shocked to hear that she usually managed around 4000 steps

So I gave her a new job!
Tea maker for everyone

If someone wanted a drink, she made it. It got her up and out of her seat and moving more!

She also had to...
take the stairs,
park as far away as possible from work,
drink lots of water (or tea), so she was up and down to the toilet, and go for walks on her dinner break

These small changes in her routine really helped to up her steps!
