How well can you express rotation of the T-spine/thorax independent of the hips/pelvis?

And how much range can you achieve?

How well can you perform pelvis rotation independent of the t-spine/thorax?

And how much range can you achieve?

2 - Pelvic Control

How well can you express control of your pelvis, finding and shifting between anterior and posterior tucks?

And how efficiently and easily can you move between the two positions?

These elements will have a significant impact on swing characteristics like early extension, slide, sway and loss of posture showing up in your game.

Become more reflective and you’ll become more effective!

Q: How are your current patterns working out?

Our consistent patterns dictate our results.

Our consistent patterns of thought, choices, feelings, beliefs, habit and behaviours.

These patterns leads us eventually to live by our consistent conditioned pattern of daily actions which in turn creates our patterns of results…

In health, wellbeing and fitness.
Personally. Professionally.
Every area our lives.

Our results are a direct reflection of the patterns we are choosing to live by each day.

Question is, are those results what you want?

Same patterns. Same results.
Better patterns. Better results.

To shift our results to higher levels, we must make a positive shift in our patterns! To let go off that which does not serve, and create the space for that which does serve and empower us.

This is the invisible side of your success, results and life and it is the success mechanism, the gift that you were given at birth. We as Humans should be able to express the ability to shift and transfer our weight into and out of both left and right sides. It’s the foundation of your effective gait system when walking.

However, when this ability becomes compromised through poor consistent movement patterns conditioned overtime, many can become ‘stuck’ favouring a more dominant side.

Ofcourse, it’s more detailed than the labels in picture but let’s keep it simple.

We as Humans are balanced by asymmetry and we have a slight disposition to favour the right side, and when this asymmetrical make-up is managed poorly, many folk have a tendency to live consistently in their right side more so than the left and this becomes ‘home’ for them. This can have deep effects on the CNS.

Alot of humans will have no problems at with this and can perform and train as normal, but there are a number who will experience pain and alot of issues in knee, hip, back, SI joint pain, shoulder and other areas due to mismanagement.

The first key is awareness and then comes management.

What I want to get through here is that this is not ‘bad’, you need to load your right side, but if you are being held captive on that right side and that consistent loading is causing you pain or discomfort then you need to stop, become aware and address the route cause and source of your pain.

We as Humans should probably spend a bit more time focusing on shifting into our left side and then the ability to shift freely and transition between right and left efficiently, as it is part of our gait system ofcourse.

Firstly this is vital for human health of movement and longevity but If you are involved in sports or training, the importance elevates, because the when your foundation of movement breaks down, the chances of injury, especially in demanding sports goes up and you don’t want your ego to writing cheques your body can’t cash!

So become aware first.
Become aware of your habitual home, habits and consistent movement patterns.
