In this episode, I share why and how I stepped into the fitness industry over 20 years ago, what initially pulled me into coaching, and the lessons Iโ€™ve learned along the way.

One of the most frustrating things as coaches is watching people quit when things get tough.

Not because they can't achieve their goals.

Not because the plan isn't working.

But because quitting feels easier than facing the challenge.

When progress slows, motivation drops, or life gets busy, many people start looking for the exit door. They convince themselves they'll come back when things settle down.

A massive congratulations to Coleton Mitchell, who worked with us for over a year as part of our Youth Strength and Movement Programme. It has been great to have him back in the gym recently and we are delighted to see his hard work and dedication paying off both on and off the pitch.

This season, Coleton finished as Linfield U16sโ€™ top goal scorer, a fantastic achievement that reflects the commitment, effort and consistency he brings to his game every week.

As if that was not enough, he has also recently been selected for the County Londonderry Squad for the Super-Cup NI 2026, another huge milestone and a well deserved reward for all the work he has put in.

While talent plays its part, success at this level comes from dedication, discipline and a willingness to go the extra mile with his strength and conditioning work with us, and Coleton has shown all of these qualities throughout his journey.

Everyone at Chris Bradley PT is incredibly proud of what he has achieved so far and we are excited to see what the future holds for him.
